- Travel bubbles are under development in some places in an effort to revive air travel, which has plummeted during the pandemic. WSJ explains how reopening the skies without quarantine requirements at both ends of a trip could help reboot the global economy. Illustration: Crystal Tai

2 Week quarantines were extremely unrealistic for travelers to accommodate regardless if it was for business or pleasure.. A two day business trip could end up taking you away for a month as you could potentially be forced to quarantine in both your home airport and destination airport. Whatever helps reduce the number of hoops to jump through, i am for.
The map of Europe does not look like this
neither Africa. It's just illustrative
nope, here in Hong Kong the 4th wave has started right before the travel bubble with Singapore started. It will now postpone to next year.
December started from the 1st.
~ I hope that the new week/month will also be accompanied by good health and good things. ^O^
so basically it's lifting off restrictions for specific countries? Why all the jargon air bubble, etc etc
Nice video.
People before pandemic : i'm concerned about my data and privacy.
People during pandemic : please track me
Haha, proof that people prefer safety over security.
I really enjoyed your video. Great channel. 👁👌🏼
Greetings from Albania. 👋🏼 🇦🇱
In the video Italy's travel corridor is not included. There is a travel corridor with most EU countries and soon with the US. However, the UK are not really doing anything to avoid quarantine when entering the country. After the lockdown and during the Christmas period
@0:42 the background music reminds me of the background music from Cowboy Bebop
They even have mini bubbles between thailand 🇹🇭 n kwangdong that other Chinese provinces don’t share in due to their infection data.
1:04 oh my god what has happened to the world

how airlines will bury news of passenger with virus infections?
Whats essential and whats not
If necessity is the mother of innovation, then adversity is probably the father. Hope this works out well enough for wider adoption, so we can round the corner sooner.
Adversity is the abusive stepfather of innovation.
Oh Well! This had to happen at some point or the other- it's more likely that Countries with stricter lockdown measures early on get a better return on this
🌹
No bubbles, no lockdowns, no quarantines. Live free!

Peatrie dishes of the sky.
The fact that you don't know how to spell petri doesn't exude any confidence
You can keep your "bubbles." Entirely too sketchy.

How is easing the restrictions going to motivate tourists to travel more?
If people are gonna travel to any country, the quarantine restrictions would be pretty low in their concern list.
How dare you WSJ combine Eritrea with Ethiopia. Right this mistake next time
Not interested, thank you. I'll respect my local rules and wait till this pandemic finishes, but I won't be downloading a tracking app.
yeeah watchuii
Non-asian people are not going be comfortable with tracking app.
in switzerland 2 million mobile phones with tracking app
in apple iOS 14 automatically instal and you have do it only on !
Who designed this useless map? 1:18
I agree with you sir.
Look up the mortality rate for 2019 and 2020 and compare it to previous years. About the same. Let's stop right now all this non sense. We've had enough.

There was actually a huge increase in deaths in the US this year. Most other highly affected countries had a large spike in deaths at the beginning of the pandemic following by dropping to normal or lower than normal death rates BECAUSE OF COVID SAFETY MEASURES.
@@crazyscarecrow8136 you are right about the spike. But if you take the whole year it's similar to previous years. At least here in France (9.1 per 1000). We'll have the definitive results in January 2021.
first! yeeeey
To the 1%reading this: stay safe, and have a wonderful day! ( My Dream is to become a popular UA-camr) Thanks! ✌❤
The map is horrible. The African map is totally messed up. I'm disgusted. When I saw the map, I lost interest in the video😠

Report this video for showing Incorrect map of India. How dare you show Kashmir as pakistan and Laddakh & Arunachal as china??
No
I do not see any scientific evidence justifying the duration of the widely accepted two week self isolation. It is quite arbitrary. Why 14 days, not 10 days? Why not 3 weeks, or a month? How about a week? It is so random.
2 weeks because covid takes around 5-14 days to begin showing symtpoms
Oh amongst the first 10 comments...... The last time I was this early was when Obama was still president.
😂
America has left the chat
The government just needs to remove all restrictions, then economy would likely heal faster
And everyone would die faster.... yeah sure
I mean if thats what you want....
You like Trump too? He also wants that...
@@fishymakesart2133 The virus survival rate is 99.7%. 1.5 million die from tuberculosis each year, but nobody ever freaks out over that
@@fishymakesart2133 I don't like Trump, but he seems to have created many low-paid jobs for Americans
@@containedhurricane oh so when it comes to EVERYONE going outside, it's actually ok when people die or get scarred on the lungs literally? Well people arent freaking out on your reason because whatever they had isnt contagious....... Yes the survival rate is 99.7 percent but that doesn't change the value of the lives of people.... geez these guys want the economy to grow so much.... HOW WILL THE ECONOMY GROW IF NO ONES HEALTHY OR ALIVE ENOUGH to grow it?
