I think it says it all for Adam Barrs narration skills when we get “come, come, Mr Biggins “ and later the sexy growl of Crowley. All these characters become people we care about! We have pictures in our minds of all of them. Scott your writing is superb, and Adam is the only one to bring it all to life. Such a joy and this is the second time of listening.

The storie weaving skills of King mixed with the wit of lewis lamor. An instant favorite. Suprised the big boys haven't swooped this story up for a movie.. Excellent listen with heros i will not soon forget! Thank you.

You know to suspend some disbelief when a U.S. unit is carrying them in the first place. 😂 I've found such discrepancies easier to gloss over as I've been binging Scott's books, but as a general rule such details are best left out if the research isn't there.

My favorite author passed away in November, 2021 and his genre was historical novels based in Africa, Wilbur Smith was surely a great writer and now I found a writer whose pen can reach out and grab you and not let go just as Smith did although a different genre. Three large dogs knocked a 10 ton school bus off the road... I have seen a car broadside a school bus and it stayed on the road and ended up on the shoulder. This part was a bit ridiculous. 27:56
Don't forget they triple in size and are roided out the st Bernard the size of a black bear, three to the front in a concentrated attack while in motion and a dog through the front then they've hit a tree too 🤷I think it's quite plausible considering all factors atleast in my imagining of the situation
I have a love hate with josephine. She can be annoying but I like how she is very useful. Teddy is my favorite character.

It was actually the one dog that came through the windscreen which caused the bus driver to swerve and go off the road.
