Indigo Girls are my all time favorite band. I have seen them in concert every time they have come through Dallas or San Diego. One of my dreams is to be financially independent enough to follow them on a tour season to every venue. Best road trip music ever. I simply cannot ever get enough. I’m loving this podcast folks! So much! Keep up the interesting conversations. ❤
Six degrees of separation- I saw Brandi Carlile at The State Room in Utah, and she did several nights of sets at that tiny venue. I was there the night she played the whole The Story album. A few years later she got super famous. You've got to have her on your show!!
Hanging with Handsome friends drinking my coffee every Tuesday morning is a delight!! Thank you! Today's question from Indigo Girls was the best yet! For me, Paul Simon Graceland or Talking Heads Speaking in Tongues.
The 90s crime thriller talk felt catered to me. That is my favorite genre; I was raised on Enough, Double Jeopardy, Along Came A Spider, Kiss The Girls etc. I still have the biggest crush on Ashley Judd to this day!
My Mom and SIL and I just saw you in Sugarland this past weekend, Fortune. We had the best night ever! You killed it. Thanks for all the laughs and memories! ✌️💛
Oh my god… When Almond milk first came out I was sitting on my couch with my gay best friend that I lived with. We were both just taken aback and I just blurted out “how do you milk a nut???” And without skipping a beat he turned to me with his hands out saying “well you see…” we both died laughing and bring it up regularly almost 12 years later.
I’ve just binged all the Handsome I’ve missed in life! I’m so excited someone’s finally mentioned Brandi. Please, get Brandi to ask a question or guest host! The handsomest handsomes that ever handsomed 😍
I am from Chicago, Illinois and I have heard of wash closet. That was the funniest thing I’ve ever heard. Mae😂 And I absolutely love it when Mae makes fun of themself and talks in that funny, nerdy baby voice. I live for that.
Water chamber. Mae, you are so dramatic! 😂 Y’all are so hilarious. I’d have to say older Talking Heads or Bowie/Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.
I have to say, growing up with The Indigo Girls was the best! My sisters and I sang Love's Recovery at our high school (East High - yes the one from High School Musical! 😊) for an assembly when I learned how to play the guitar. It's the only one of their songs I can play perfectly, just as it is played on the album. I posted a video of it for friends on FB/IG during the pandemic (which is why it's still on my UA-cam channel), and it got more comments than any other song. Even the lady who taught me how to play it (and how to play the guitar) was impressed that I could still play it. 🏳️🌈❤
Fortune! I swear, we are sistas! Breakin into to song, vibrato all over the place and then crackin' up!😂 I have ridiculous vibrato when I sing anything by Cher, which somehow morphs into a combination of Toby(RIP) Keith and Cher's voices?! It's a friend favorite. 😂 I have an hour and a half commute to work, and you all make it FLY BY. Belly laughing the whole way! Thanks for being awesome, handsome, humans!❤
Indigo girls-Rite of Passage….would have loved to have been there for that. But, Celine Dion Let’s Talk About Love-would get to see her, The Bee Gees, Barbra Streisand and Luciano Pavarotti….ah!!! That would be so awesome!
Great album choices by all three pretty little ladies but special shout out to Fortune from this Mpls girl who spent a LOT of time at First Ave in the Prince Purple Rain era. ❤🔥 I always thought "water closet" was the cutest because where else are they going to tuck in a little toilet and sink in a big old house? IN THE CLOSET, so now it's the water closet. Presh!
Not a studio album, but I would have loved to have been at the recording of Nirvana Unplugged. Such an iconic album. Also, I love you all. Keep doing this podcast forever!❤️🤠
I can NOT IMAAAGGGGINNNNEEE being in the studio when Garth sang that "Blame it all on my roots..." GAH CHILLS! Not to mention witnessing Thunder Rolls??!! dead.
Man. Lots to love about this ep. Great question!! I got lost in Amy's speaking voice. Got to see the Indigo Girls twice back when the Lilith Fair was a thing and they did not disappoint. Excited to check out the movie.
I’m not gay, however, the Indigo Girls talked to my heart and really truly help me be spiritual and feel emotion. Feel hope. I just adore them and always have and I understand that they would really connect with a gay females of but I connected with their art as a human.Yeah, I wish I could say thank you to them. thank you
Here in Japan that's how pretty much everybody does karaoke, in a private room where you can order food and drinks. Some small bars used to have karaoke, and you could sit at the bar and sing, but that was mostly for the older generations...
Fortune Judding it up making light of Tig’s Grandpa 👴🥸 disguise is creativity at its finest! I howled!🤭😂 ..and Fortune singing Gladys Night was classic. 🎤🎶
I can't believe even with Fortune singing it there was no mention of the indigo Girls live Midnight Train to Georgia. It's on 12,000 Curfews and so sad I never saw it live! Love all your handsome faces! What a podcast!
Fortune I understand ur not liking the Beatles. When they first came out I didn’t care for them either. Then I heard The White album and then I got it.
I got a new sewing machine recently and named her Fortune. (I make custom ballet costumes) Every morning I start the day saying good morning, but throughout the rest of the day there are plenty of times that I say, "FORTUNE" don't fuck up the 'paunties'. Yes I make many paunties for the tutus. Also I just don't appreciate the Beatles. In fact their noise is aggravating.
I’m with you Fortune… it’s a no for me on the Beatles. Love love love the podcasts though!! You all make me laugh so hard… I was hoping to see Tig in Waterville Maine but I’ll be out of town. Maybe next time! Thanks for the awesome podcast 💜
One of Ashley Judd's early films, Ruby in Paradise, is really good. I like the opening scene where there's no dialogue just Judd's Ruby storming out of a southern rural-looking house with a look of determination, and as she drives away this dumbass guy runs out looking like he just woke up. We can't hear anything he's yelling, but it's definitely dumbass shit like "You get your ass back here!", etc., as he finally impotently throws his shoe at the car as she leaves him behind literally and figuratively...
The feelings each of you described your artist/album is not unfamiliar, as I feel similarly toward each of you. Hands down, I would choose to be in the Handsome Podcast recording. What a Podcast! Will not famous people ever be able to ask questions? (That doesn’t count as my question.)
I was just about to come with a defense of the Garth Brooks 1992 concert experience, which was crazy. But then you mentioned Prince. And well, yes, Prince. That would have been an experience, to watch him create.
One of my college professors went to a prince concert by himself and he said it was the most uncomfortable experience ever because when Prince started singing Get Off several couples around him legit obeyed Prince... 😅

Izzzzzzzzzzzi!!!!!!!
Fortune needs to come out with an album 🎤😲
I adore her singing!!! She’s SO good! ❤
I love her singing so much! lol. She has a beautiful voice!
I love Fortune’s cardigan!! She looks great!
50:01 I'm with Fortune. Tig and Mae started talking about Beatles songs, and I zoned out. 😬
Yay @Mae noticing my "Pretty Little Theydy" suggestion :) You DO read the comments! #StayHandsome
We need a “Midnight Train to Georgia” Fortune cover.
With Mae and Tig as "the pips"!
The album to see the making of is Rumors!!! Give me fleetwood mac's juicy love quadrangle processing their breakups
I came to the comments to see if anyone else said this. I'd be sitting in the corner with my popcorn 😶🌫️
funniest line: Fortune "see, the Beatles are tearing us apart..."
In Asia we don’t have those Chinese food containers!
I think it’s so wholesome when Mae gets excited when the celebrities asking the question say her name.❤❤❤
Their name 😊
Loving the Grandpa Tig disguise today lol
tig is not taking this seriously. I am shaking my head....tee hee
Its queen for me. Always. Any album.
Night at the Opera. I would die

Ok, so I am not the only one feeling like I am just hanging out with my funny friends.
Graceland!!!!! ABSOLUTELY!!!
I was not expecting the Gladys Knight love. Yall keep getting better and better 🙌
Please record an album of covers. It would be amazing. I’m not even kidding, it would be awesome!
Indigo Girls? The most handsome get possible!
All I know is I need stickers that say "FORTUNE!!!"
Yall need t-shirts with Fortune!!!! and Fortune Marie!!! would totally buy them!

Side note, Ashley Judd was amazing in Devine secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood ✨
Who who?

In Argentina we also have milk in bags. It’s a European thing. They are called milk sachet.
Yesss - Let’s make the Pretty Little Theydy merch a reality please. Maybe a button or pin?
I am from Chicago, Illinois and I have heard of wash closet. That was the funniest thing I’ve ever heard. Mae😂
And I absolutely love it when Mae makes fun of themself and talks in that funny, nerdy baby voice. I live for that.
Fortune, thanks for giving it up to Prince! How about a handsome album. Really enjoying the sodes. Laughing and learning . Cheers y'all

Tig saying she's part metalhead makes me LOVE her 1000٪ more than usual!! 💙🤘
Never would've guessed. And I love it!
Me too. But I was thinking Metallica during therapy- the mental work you’d get done and witness genius. 2 fer

I’m so thrilled by the depths of “Under a Rock” Tig’s music expertise

Yes 😊 Handsome soundtrack
I can NOT IMAAAGGGGINNNNEEE being in the studio when Garth sang that "Blame it all on my roots..." GAH CHILLS! Not to mention witnessing Thunder Rolls??!! dead.
I really appreciated the extended Judds chat. I have truly found my people.
Fortune not being into the Beetles makes me feel seen lol
Didn't know Midnight Train was an actual song. I know it from 30Rock. Fortune's rendition is now my favorite.
Man. Lots to love about this ep. Great question!! I got lost in Amy's speaking voice. Got to see the Indigo Girls twice back when the Lilith Fair was a thing and they did not disappoint. Excited to check out the movie.
The way comedians will go with a bit, no matter how obscure or unexpected 😂
Paused to listen to We Didn't Start The Fire from Fall Out Boy and damn. I teared up too..
Very good song
And very good podcast. Well done handsomes 🥰
23:45 can't stop playing Mae's "Let's go girls" on repeat!!
It was so good!
Appreciate you talented ladies, blessings from Quebec Canada 💐
Enjoyed ya'll on the after midnight episode!!
In Colombia we get our milk in bags too 😊 and Chinese comes in Styrofoam’s too 😁
Yes! Love when a new episode comes up. ❤
would immediately buy a "pretty little they/she" sweater or tee. Would love to see a "pretty little they/he" too. Thanks for the pod!
The Handsomes practicing their pretty little Shania voices ❤
I loved Mae's Shania voice!
I’m not gay, however, the Indigo Girls talked to my heart and really truly help me be spiritual and feel emotion. Feel hope. I just adore them and always have and I understand that they would really connect with a gay females of but I connected with their art as a human.Yeah, I wish I could say thank you to them. thank you
music doesn’t care about orientation. It’s for everyone.
I’m weak watching Fortune cat play with the B’s. She forgot the claws though 🤣🤣🤣
I would have loved to see Tina Turner in the recording studio.
100% songs in the key of life, was reflecting on it yet again recently.
Is there anything better than Fortune's laugh??? It totally redeems her for not loving The Beatles. ;-P

I LOVE seeing you pretty little ladies on UA-cam! It’s even better when we get to see your faces!
Grandpa Tidge, have you shrunken 😁✨
I love the water closet cacophony 😂
Fortune’s pick of Prince blew my mind. How could I forget 💜I was thinking Elvis 1st album. Seeing R&R be born. 🍔🤩 Great pod 😘
Finally! I feel seen with Fortune not feeling the Beatles 😂
Fortune re: beatles-totally agree! Thanks for speaking up. People aren't allowed to not like the Beatles for some reason.
Fortune I understand ur not liking the Beatles. When they first came out I didn’t care for them either. Then I heard The White album and then I got it.
Another Beatles Not Liker reporting for duty.
I've never been crazy about the Beatles either. I do live a few of their songs but otherwise, eh.
I live to hear Tig say, ‘Fortune!’
I am feeling like they need to do a pod from a karaoke room and it all be a sing along 😊
Mae yawning while tig is saying her show dates lol great episode as always!
The Judds!!! YESSS!! Love all their songs, Why not me is so good!
Midnight train to Georgia is one of my all time favorites!!🚂
I got a new sewing machine recently and named her Fortune. I just love Fortune's laugh!

Great episode Handsome’s! One of the best questions I’ve heard on the cast. #indigogirls
I want be with Fortune at Prince’s studio for the Purple Rain/Joe the Button sessions! 💜
So funny that Tig looks like she's frowning with the mustache and brows, and that the ice bucket is "pineapple apart"
Pat Benetar hands down! ❤
Bit of pedantry: I lived in Montreal for many years and they had those folded Chinese food boxes.
Genesis “Lamb Lies Down on Broadway” or anything Lil Nas X he just seems so creative.
Fortune needs to watch Across the Universe and it will change her mind about The Beatles. Awesome, crazy, and lovely musical!
The three of you talking about Fall Out Boy?! I’ve never been happier 😍
Fortune’s singing voice!
I loved that romcom that Ashley Judd and Hugh Jackman did.
One of Ashley Judd's early films, Ruby in Paradise, is really good. I like the opening scene where there's no dialogue just Judd's Ruby storming out of a southern rural-looking house with a look of determination, and as she drives away this dumbass guy runs out looking like he just woke up. grubby is an underused word
Songs in the key of life, such a great album!
I love the music talk. More please.
Fleetwood Mac- Rumours
👁️👄👁️
🍿
Next episode Tig should just be in a giant mustache costume
We didn’t have those cool Chinese containers in Australia either. People wanted to order Chinese in America just for the containers
What does the Chinese food come in there?
The feelings each of you described your artist/album is not unfamiliar, as I feel similarly toward each of you. Hands down, I would choose to be in the Handsome Podcast recording. What a Podcast! Will not famous people ever be able to ask questions? (That doesn’t count as my question.)
I agree with Fortune about the Beatles. They are fine. Thats about it for me.
just love you all, laughing non stop
I was just about to come with a defense of the Garth Brooks 1992 concert experience, which was crazy. But then you mentioned Prince. And well, yes, Prince. That would have been an experience, to watch him create.

Shoot - I thought this was a no commercial hidden-gem! What are you pushing next week ... Manscaped? Wait, that actually would be funny.
Prince and the Revolution, Purple Rain Album
Panda Express is my favorite fast food ever. I do half fried rice half vegetables, the honey walnut shrimp and mushroom chicken. And an egg roll. Yum!
