Heard this on The Film Guy Network. UGA and Bama have played 70 times, whichever team gets to 30 points first in these games are 22-0. Both these teams have incredible defenses so 30 points by either may be a stretch, but if one of them hits it, it could most likely mean the ball game is over. As a die hard dawg, it'll be tough for us to hit 30 based on how our offense has looked, and bama is just so explosive. The one thing that works for UGA is Bama's inability to sustain 6+ minute drives consistently like UK did against us to keep our offense from getting in a flow bc they depend so much on the explosive plays. My heart says dawgs 27-20, my mind says Bama 30-21. Really hope my heart is right. Cheers to an incredible game.
As a Bama fan I love The Film Guy Network, just got done watching his breakdown of our offense and defense. This is definitely going to be a close game that comes down to the final drive, I think Bama hits a few explosives and Georgia has some long drives and keeps our offense off the field. Bama will also go 3 and out multiple times, Still think Bama gets the win especially cause its a home game. 31-27 Bama takes the win in our first matchup but I doubt it will be the last time we play each other this season.
Y'all better find more than one half of offense. We don't need to sustain drives when we're scoring in 5 plays. We have explosive play makers that won't be stopped for 4 quarters straight. But y'all lack big play makers this year. Should be a good game no matter who wins. But just like u, i have to pull for my team. Roll tide
In the words of Lee Corso.. “great pick.” I also picked Bama to win 30-21
You are a smart man. And your name ain't Kirb Dawg. At least in this match-up, Bama takes the win. I'm sure there will be a re-match later in the season. Could be in the Natty. Yall forget Texas. Flavor of the month.
I’m a die-hard Dawgs fan, but watching Kentucky manhandle Georgia on BOTH sides of the ball showed me everything I needed to see - as much as it hurts me to say it, I think ‘Bama wins by 3 scores - their offensive AND defensive lines will control the game - it’ll be over by the beginning of the 4th quarter - REALLY disappointed in the Dawgs’ line play this year, and THAT is where games are won and lost - Alabama 41 Georgia 20
You’ve come a long ways, Lou. I’ve watched the transformation of you losing your mind, and destroying your television, in a drunken rage, in a loss to Georgia Tech in 2016,to one of the finest football analysts on you tube today . Congratulations. Your sober buddy.
This is why you will vontinue to grow as a college football content creator. Being able to separate your heart and your brain and being able to admit when you think your team will lose separates you from most others. I will continue to promote your channel and I truly want to see you succeed and transcend to the highest level of respected college football analyst. Salute to you Lou.
Hype vs hate going to be crazy
On god it is!!!
Looking forward to this week’s hype and hate
If this game comes down to a shootout, Georgia loses. The defense has to make stops and absolutely has to contain Milroe
This game comes down to the line of scrimmage
Yeah the bulldog is soft..will get there stuff pushed in further
@@Bravetrain13 I wouldn't even go that far. Georgia can win on the line of scrimmage, but if they can't contain Milroe, they will lose. It's all about keeping Milroe behind the line of scrimmage without him having time in the pocket
@@cdpridg3998 yea you pushing your stuff in from your couch
@@Bravetrain13Actually this game comes down to where it's played. MAYBE Georgia will win in Tuskaloosa this century... Maybe
I'm an LSU fan and I hate both of these teams, but it just feels like this is so much bigger for Georgia than it is Bama
@@TrevorMaricle-cd6gl why need facts not just feelings?
Also Alabama plays great always as an underdog.
They will again.
This game is a validation point on the line for Kirby, and a measuring stick for Deboer. UGA and Kirby definitely has a lot more pressure on them than Alabama and Deboer does.
@@ChadMilligan-c3wyour stuck in the Saban era. You have no idea what they are going to do. They struggled against USF.
@@Booster6969 with 2 offensive starters not playing.
I guess they struggled last week right against Wisconsin.
I hate to tell you when Saban was hear it was an even closer game against USF .
42-16 vs 13-12 now who struggled.
And thats why you’re an Lsu fan.
Bama has the same effect now that 90s-00s Florida had over UGA. Doesn’t matter who the better team is or was, UGA always seems to struggle to win those games.
One more comment: I respect your honest unbiased opinion of Georgia. I try to do the same. We love our Dawgs but, we need to keep it real. ❤️🖤
Bama takes it , JM runs and passes his team to victory .
Jm didn’t run much against uga last time and was sacked 4 times
He and bama got helped
It’s really hilarious seeing people talk about bama blowing out UGA because how they looked at Kentucky… while simultaneously overlooking Bama vs south Florida.. 🙄🤦🏼♂️ and neither game matters..
Exactly 😂 everyone’s talking about how Georgia looked at Kentucky but forget how bad Bama played at home vs South Florida until 6 mins left in the 4th quarter.. It’s gonna be a close game
Alabama always beats Georgia and it’s typically a blowout
@@trehaslem2982 with 2 of the offensive linemen out 2 played for Alabama that had never played before a day in there life in that USF game.
If you think that Alabama team shows up you’re crazy.
Alabama has all there players back healthy for Georgia week.
So keep dreaming you see the Alabama team that played USF .
@@ChadMilligan-c3w Idc .. Alabama Was the far superior talented team. Don’t give me injurie excuses against a team like South Florida for crying out loud 😂😂 .. And i did say Georgia vs Alabama is going to be a close one , it’s a coin flip game man .

I'm kinda hoping they've seen that all week and have gotten pi$$Ed off. New coach. New game. Going to be interesting
Lol same results
I say 30-21 Alabama wins
Well it doesn’t really matter to y’all Tennessee fans cause you’re gonna lose to both of us
Holy shit lou...what bet did you lose to have to wear that spandex?
This is why I watch you. Non-bias when it comes down to it. But come Saturday at kickoff you’re all in.
Bama fan here and I agree with your analysis
Win or Lose, should be interesting.
Not the end of the road for either one.
Roll Tide!
Exactly!!! That's what I'm saying ppl act like if my dawgs lose the season is over or if bama loses their season is over just don't make no sense
Agreed! Go Dawgs. Good luck! I hope it's competitive. Either way, I'll always respect Bama. Also, Texas needs to be humbled this year.
@kevinmorrow4038 I expect both these teams to be in the playoffs but if Alabama beats them in the first game without Saban it's gonna be in Georgia's heads. It wouldn't bode well for them in future match ups.
True! Go Dawgs. Nothing but respect for Bama. Texas needs to be humbled, though.
@@jasonjanssen3006if y’all lose to us, don’t let it destroy you mentally and absolutely take it out on Texas and bring them down a peg or two and get better for the future SEC title game matchup
I don’t think either team wins by more than one possession. This game tends to bring the absolute best out of both Alabama and Georgia, and I’m expecting the same from this year.
Proud of Uncle Lou having the guts to pick Alabama. Even though he's a huge Georgia fan he knows he big bro is. Roll Tide
Go Dawgs!!❤🖤❤️🖤
Dawgs about to catch another L from bama.

What perfect timing. Just heard Kangaroo Black yell in his car for 40 minutes about nothing. Needed some real analysis😂

That dude is a joke when it comes to actual analysis. He banned me from his channel for simply being pro-Georgia 😂
But you watched tho😂
@matthewsharpe393 i simply stop by to comment "🐶🔝"😂😂
@mariahale3221 i was waiting for his prediction so i could come back later😂 but not only did i watch but im subscribed lmao he can be entertaining
I’m a huge Dawg fan but Georgia could end up going 8-4 or 9-3 that’s a very distinct possibility. Win or lose Saturday 10-2 is probably their best case but hey 10-2 with their schedule, they are a legitimate threat to win the whole thing. That said 23-27 Tide wins a 4th quarter game. If Georgia gets dominated up front like Lou thinks could happen the Dawgs defense is good enough to keep it respectable but the Tide would win 24-14. Dawgs are gonna need to play a clean game and win the LOS.
Great video Lou, been watching your content since the national championship in 2019. Bama fan here, but respect your analysis and breakdown. Hoping for a great game, keep up the great work you’re doing. RTR!
Georgia fan here. My prediction for this game is 34-17 with Bama as the winner. I think the scoreboard during most of this game will be close with Bama adding on more points in the 4th Qtr as Georgia's line of scrimmage and fatigue sets in. Hate to admit but here are my concerns: (1) Georgia O-Line is beat up with key starter Ratledge gone for next 6-7 weeks. Unlike other positions, the O-Line is not just about replacing a body for another body. It takes time for all the O-Line players to "gel together" and so Georgia is at a disadvantage. This will lead to O-Line not being able to provide 4-5 seconds of pocket protection for Beck who has shown lack of confidence when he is pressured (any QB who is not true mobile QB will). (2) Beck does not exude confidence when his O-Line does not provide enough time to go through his progressions and check downs. Beck has not shown this year and last year's SECCG that he is "that guy" who can put the entire Georgia Offense on his shoulders to win the game for you. Beck also "does not have an arm" or "the cannon" to launch the ball deep either which limits all the play calling. (3) biggest unknown is the Georgia Coaching vs. Bama Coaching in this game. In last year's SECCG, Georgia defense went too soft on defense against Milroe - giving him all day to slice and dice his way to the endzone. No pressure at all. I was not impressed with Georgia DC and Coach Smart's mantra of "need to contain Milroe" by lightly pressuring him to stay in the pocket. We need to "hunt down" the QB and get him to eat dirt/grass multiple times in the game because no defense can outlast an offense when given plenty of time. (4) Georgia's OC lacks "creativity" in play calling an offense in real big games. That may be because we do not have the playmakers like McConkey or Bowers but where is all the talent Georgia supposedly recruit every year?? Stop with the Run-Run-Pass-Punt that we all expect from Georgia OC. Speaking of runs, PLEASE STOP CALLING PLAYS WHERE THE RB RUN UP THE MIDDLE IN THE A GAP ALL THE TIME. GO AROUND if the BAMA DEFENSE STACK THE BOX (which they will since we are so predictable - Kentucky did the same thing against us). Stop being so predictable. It makes it easier for Bama defense to pin their ears back and sack Beck multiple times in this game. I realize this is hard to do since we do not have an effective O-Line at the moment. (5) Early in the season AWAY game for Georgia - this is less of a factor but the fact we are playing at Bama early this season with lack of playmakers - does give a slight edge for Bama when the points on adds are less than 5 points.
Bama's biggest vulnerability on defense is our young corners. They've had a few coverage busts but haven't paid the price for it. If we don't get pressure on Beck Georgia will hit a couple of big plays, Alabama will too. I disagree with Uncle Lou that Georgia will hold Ryan Williams under 45 yards. You guys will be impressed with him. Anyway good luck Saturday and Roll Tide.
@@JayTide Thanks for the comment. Here are my follow up points. First, Bama's Ryan Williams reminds me of DeVonta Smith who single-handedly ruined Georgia's chance at a Natty in 2018 with Tua throwing the pass. A lot of Georgia fans may have forgotten about how DeVonta Smith was headed for Georgia until he changed his mind and switched to Bama - so that hurt us twice. So, I am not discounting R. Williams since his style is eerily similar to how DeVonta Smith used to run his routes (he will be a great NFL WR some day). Second, Bama's defense/corners busting coverage won't hurt Bama too much since Beck's throws are mostly short/medium passes. Unless Georgia's receiver gets a huge YAC (yards after the catch), Bama's error in covering a receiver won't cost the game. In contrast, Georgia's corners busting coverage on Milroe will cost us the game since Milroe is mostly known for his deep ball accuracy. He does not generally throw crossing route passes for small gains. If I see more of Run-Run-Pass-Punt from Georgia OC this Sat, I will know at that time that we need to flush Bobo and get someone competent with an NFL offense resume like T. Monken. One thing we cannot do is be predictable to a point where it hurts us on both sides of the line of scrimmage.
Best game of the weekend no question. Great content Lou. Best show on UA-cam.
The last matchup between these two teams Alabama DOMINATED in the trenches. That fact gets overlooked by many people. If Georgia can address that issue I think they win this game. Alabama has an explosive offense but as an Alabama fan I’m afraid of what happens when they face off against an elite defense that limits those explosive plays and makes you beat them with long sustained drives. That seems to be Alabamas Achilles heel right now and guess what……….. Georgia has an elite defense. Yeah I’m more than a little concerned about it. But I think this game being played at home will help Alabama and I’m hoping coach Deboer has a little something extra in the offensive playbook for this upcoming matchup. I guess this is why they play the games. Anyways it’ll be an interesting matchup and Roll Tide!!!
I’m taking Georgia to win the Georgia. Bulldogs will win this.
This'll probably be the game of the year. These games always come down to the very end.
Lou I got to tell you, you've broke my heart a few times bashing Michigan over the last few years but that's not enough. Go Dawgs!!!!
I've got Alabama winning 23-16. Georgia's defense is the pinnacle of the FBS, but Alabama's explosive offense wins enough to give Alabama the W.
Great video Lou
This is the beginning of the end of Bobo
Should have not been a beginning! That was a friend hire.
Yep!
Alabama is going to win 38-17
Georgia isn’t giving up 38 points
@@Ghost_618nationI agree with you a lot of people just ain’t realizing how good our defense is we still haven’t even allowed a touchdown

I honestly believe Georgia’s D line better when healthy and hopefully we have at least 2 of our lineman back!!!
Lot of great points. Go Dawgs!
Bro! I was about to say, " What about Tennessee!?" That to me is the scariest game for Bama.
Tennessee is good I will admit but those wins against NC state and Oklahoma not as good as it looks. All hype against overrated teams.. but thet are good
Nice shirt Lou, pulling for your Dawgs!

Which ever team loses its no shame because both teams are great and ranked in the top 5 it's gonna be a great game can't wait ROLL TIDE 🐘
I don't know what the score will be, but I think Arian Smith will have an explosive game. I also think Ryan Williams will have an explosive game. If I have to bet, it will be a close game. I also think lower scoring. 28 to 24, hopefully with the Dawgs on top, but it could also be Alabama. Go Dawgs! Also, I just love college football. Respect, either way.
Going to be a top tier game. No matter who wins and loses. The fans are winning just watching. ** 🐘🐘 RMFT 🐘🐘** Grab the leash Bama time to walk the dogs!!

Bama should win this game easily. I can’t believe UGA is favored. Easiest money you’ll get all year on the AL moneyline
Hey Lou I know the feeling Florida can have a deaf offensive line a mute quarterback and a blind head coach and still find a way to beat Tennessee in Knoxville
Great breakdown Lou! I think if Georgia can really limit Bama from those big, explosive plays, and forces us to grind out and earn first downs this game could get really interesting in 4th! Either way, gonna be a phenomenal game!
Dawgs are in trouble when Uncle Lou picks against them! 😮
Line of scrimmage. If the same QB protection shows up at this game that UGA had at Kentucky, UGA will loose by at least 2 TD's.
Bama “gets to” or “rattles” Kirby. Gotta call a spade a spade
Tough one to call Lou, we’ll find out Saturday, what a great game!!!
Ga 31-20 and that’s Bama scoring a garbage td late
😂
Ga can win this game but as much as i love my dawgs i cant pick them here after what i saw at kentucky
Just like last season right
How scoring 31 with no offense and weak lines of scrimmage..maybe 13
@@jonathanmoxley1826tell us you don’t know shit about football without telling us
One overlooked key is Bama's new defensive philosophy, 3 down linemen against UGA may be us begging them to run it down our throats, Wisc. ran the ball well, they were just turning it over. He has to be able to change on the fly to bear Kirby like Saban did.
Look… listen… difference this year is Bama doesn’t have saint Saban making in game coaching adjustments. That will tip the scales in UGAs favor.
Why do some of you Georgia fans act like it's only been SABAN, BAMA has been dominating Georgia long before SABAN, however SABAN did continue the trend and made it even better RTR
Exactly georgia always is winning at half then saban makes adjustments and they come back and win
@@ezmoney79between 1993-2007 yall didn't have any fans.
@ObZenGuy hilite my tattoo, I've had that since around 2006 our not so good years, I'ma lifelong diehard BAMA fan, one thing we know if BAMA gets down we always get back to winning championships and beginning new dynasties, we only went 15 years between Stallings and SABAN and here we are again, sounds like a long time but it's way better than any other blueblood, look at ND, USC, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Texas, etc etc even osu and Mich they only have two each in the last 54 years or so and if anyone has bandwagon fans it's Georgia, 40 years to win another championship geezzz pitiful, ROLL TIDE ROLL
@ezmoney79, we never even played Alabama every year until sometime in the last 15 or 20 years? So, how did Bama dominate us? I never even paid any attention to them until we had to play them every year
Love your channel Lou. I’m a Georgia fan but I don’t need a yes man or some homer bs. I love real analysis. Preciate you for keeping it real and breaking it down fairly.
Historically, the team that gets to 100 points first wins 100% of the time.
As a diehard GA fan, it’s time to admit that Beck is okay-at-best and the rest of the team is young and/or immature. Beck has done a lot of great things, but he’s done more boneheaded moves than a top 5 QB should. I think it’s a safe bet to give Bama 10pts over GA.
Bama 24. UGA 20...if Bama plays a clean game they win, bo doubt..if they have 3 or so turnovers and 10 or so penalties UGA wins no doubt..saban checked out early last season, i saw it..Deboer was needed..it was time for a change..and if its bad weather that favors Bama quite a bit..Beck not a runner, Milroe is..hoping for a downpour Saturday..if there is no rain Bama has the deep ball to Williams..UGA has the more experienced DBs..overall Bqmq a better team thus year, overall UGA isn't as good as last year..UGA doesn't have Bowers and Mckonky this year.
Good assessment
Im a bama fan and im picking UGA , the better looking team normally loses this game and to me bama looks better this year so i think UGA wins a close one
This is gonna be an amazing game. We will see what Georgia looks like after that crappy game against Kentucky. Do for a bounce back
It's ''Due" not do..smh...doesn't anyone know how to spell that supports Georgia?
This prediction video cleverly turned into a bash Tennessee video here and there, which is smart because Georgia and Alabama fans do have one thing in common: their knowledge that Tennessee is gross and worthy of everyone's disrespect.
Should be a great game. Looking forward to seeing who's the better team this year. GB🍊
Great video Lou, thanks GB🍊
Turnovers and special teams may be the deciding factor in this one but RTR
We have an excellent punter. Burnip is a game changer the way he flips the field. Wouldn't mind seeing Ryan Williams returning punts in this one.
RTR LANK... Gonna be a great game!!! Hopefully we really get a look at what this new Alabama offense can do. UGA will bring it, don't let Kentucky game fool you.they wont sleep walk against bama. Cant wait! RTR
I just have a notion the Dawgs will win, but next time could be a problem.
Looks like we will be watching Georgia a lot this year with that tough schedule
Interesting stat: Utah has played in 4 games this year so far. In 3 of the 4 games the other team has either benched their quarterback during the game or right after the game finished.
Mark my word…Kentucky’s D is better than Bama’s. UGA will score points in this game. UGA D just needs to get enough stops and not let Jalen Mildew beat them with his legs.
Bro Kentucky D is not better than Bamas 😂

That is what happens when a QB is used to be protected all the time. As soon as they get a little pressure they fold

If you're going to tell Bama that their win against Western Kentucky was close, then no we didn't blow Bama out in the natty game. that game was extremely close

Honestly, I still think Bama is the #1 in the SEC. I think they’re gonna beat Georgia this weekend by 2 touchdowns.
Don’t forget Bama lost to Michigan and we didn’t even need signs.. it was so hard on Saban he had to retire 😂
I mean bama beat georgia as well and gave michigan the toughest game last year
Michigan is poverty now after last year.
Come up with something original. Michigan didn’t break Nick Saban. He simply decided he wasn’t up for anymore 100 plus hour work weeks. Let’s see how much energy you have when you hit your 70’s.

This is going to be a low scoring defensive game , my guess is this game will be won by field goal maybe a touchdown, if I was betting on this game , I’d have to give bama a slight edge , just because of they’re O line and receivers
Uncle Lou I think over the buy week Kirby done his best to straighten out o line issues,we will have more depth on the d line so we dont have to play freshman, ive got georgia winning by a field goal! Go Dawgs
Great take on the game. Too bad someone has to lose. I think Kirby will not let it happen though. Roll Tide. I hope it’s at least close.
It feels like this is Georgia’s chance to beat Alabama but we will have to see. It’ll be a good game for sure
I was about to say: *3rd Saturday in October* “am I a joke to you, Lou?” 😂
A player gets arrested every week at Georgia just about our time for one of those players kill somebody. All they do is race.
it's not a Georgia problem, it's a southern black guy problem.
Prove me wrong.
Jalon Walker is way better than Mykel Williams. Walker never takes a play off!
I don’t like this matchup. Georgia has done a really good job of pressuring Bama’s QB’s but they don’t get them on the ground. I agree though, giving him Milroe all day to throw isn’t going to work either. A dual threat QB is the biggest game changer position in football. No matter how good your defense is, a QB like Milroe is scoring 3-4 touchdowns.
I have Bama at 24 and Georgia at 17.
