I just did it today for my lenovo y50-70 got whitelist removed and advanced settings added. He didn't say the specific amount what to pay so I paid 5euro it might be not much but i'm low on money. All process took around 2hours. It was kinda scary cause after typing some commands fans started working at max speed and it wouldn't stop so had to force turn off laptop :D atleast everything worked out :) Next time gonna try staying away from Lenovo laptops because of d*mn whitelists haha.
@@Skarbonkex I paid 10 dollars. It was worth it, because now my Hackintosh is working perfectly. In my case, it was very fast, I did everything in just 10 minutes. About Lenovo laptops, I liked their construction, but unfortunately, knowing that there is a list of permissions, it was a cold shower.

It's very similar to my G580. Just use tools to dump bios, post it on forum, download and run. After that you will be able to put ANY wifi card. Good luck!

He is not upfront about it either, mentioning it casually, as a PS. to his last letter before giving you the modded bios. I thought he was an enthusiast, out there to help, like I do when there is something to be done with phones in my community. This is not at all straightforward. Shady AF.

When I told him, I was looking for community support and don't have a way to pay his blockchain, because I was doing a good will gesture myself to a disabled friend, he just did not care at all and started taking the mickey. I never got the modded bios. I am furious.

Ich hatte auch eine Neuere Wlan-Karte eingesetzt aber nix da funktioniert mehr. Ideapad U530 Touch! Die orginal-Karte ist einfach nix mehr vor allem das lahme Bluetooth 4.0. Aber das Bios-Modding gegen die White-List Bevormundung ist kompliziert. Ich habe zwar die Tools via Anmeldung runtergeladen. Also simpel ist das doch nicht! Für einen ungeübten User recht kompliziert. Viel Hilfestellung für jede Frau damit das erleichtert wird ist Mangelware.

Sorry, I can't because every bios is diffrent and needs to be modded manually. It could broke your device. Just download tools from description, upload and post on forum and run it like in video. Good Luck.
Any one would know how to do this on lenovo G700? No one at bios-mods knows how to do this on this particular laptop. There is a long discussion on this however no sucess. Apart from one unconfirmed case where the person desoldering the bios chip and soldering it back. Their default advice is to connect a programmer using alligator clips into the chip however this didn't work after dismantling the entire laptop and put it back again. If anyone would know of any easier solutions out there for this model, it would be much appreciated!

You need to ask at the forum linked above and supply the BIOS off your *OWN* laptop (T440p). I believe that is very important. I haven't tried yet as I need to ask the owner of the T440p if they want it done.

How do I install G710?

You need to ask at the forum linked above and supply the BIOS off your *OWN* laptop (T440p). I believe that is very important. I haven't tried yet as I need to ask the owner of the T440p if they want it done.
