It's the very same problem I have with another brand, they move when you don't want them to. I'm sure they work well for a 20+ foot boat where the ride is always smooth but on the everyday boat they do not work. Thanks again!
Does the iPad move around when you hit wakes at speed? I have a similar mount on my skiff and when I hit a wave, the iPad moves all around on that ball pivot point.
1:56 i have that exact farm mount and sonar. Neither unit came with fasteners to join them. What did you use? I'm wondering if i need rubber washers as well. Tks!

I switched the mount for my sonar on my console to a ram mount, best decision I ever made just to be able to turn it to see it. Great product.
Ram mounts are very reliable and versatile. Two of the main reasons why I love their products.

Love that go pro style Ram mount, I've never seen that. I use a suction cup at the middle console and I like that Ram, I'll look it up.
If you buy it let me know how you like it verse the suction cup.
