A masterpiece! The 3 central focus point around your composition are gorgeous, the temperature and the transitions are out of this world. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Richard I'm so happy you're bringing back some of your old paintings because I love them all you've come a long ways thanks much love to you💐 Sharon
I miss you my friend.❤ this is an extraordinary painting as always. I can only watch in awe with how you put together impression paintings. Your style and technique grab the eye in the imagination and takes it places that I can only go in my mind. Thank you thank you and thank you. I always look forward to your new videos and I watch your old ones over and over
Hello Richard, wow great painting once again. I love the color of the greenish water in which this stone vessel seems to want to slide. The deep blue of the sky is also magnificent, which contrasts with the cliff in the background. Bravo for this beautiful canvas.
incredible! Simple moves yet the complex beauty shines through! AND I love when you say "Enough is enough, let's not overwork"! GREAT episode!!! Thank you!
A masterpiece as allways, thank you for a delightfull afternoon, lovely video, content and music with a dash if humor, perfect combo. Sorry for my poir english.
Great composition and approach, really perfecting your technique. You're use of colors, shapes and bleading and the best part where you take that break to view and finish details. Amazing to watch and a little hike included. Thanks Richard
Hi Richard, what a fantastic painting!!! I never stop learning with each video. I love to see how you paint and hw you approach the landscape on the canvas. What a great job. Congratulations!!
Brilliant painting, sir! You're a genius! Amazing masterpiece! Beautiful! ... I also enjoyed the analysis/explanation at the end of the video. Greetings from the EU!
Absolutely love your videos and style, would really like to see your reference when you are painting in the studio. Thanks so much for the inspiration!
I love your work and your style. You are inspiring me to do more knife paintings! The translucent water is extremely effective, and (as you talked about) the contrast between the rough rocks and the smooth water is striking. I am slowly absorbing your messaging about contrast beyond just color... learning a lot! Thank you!
I have been an artist since the 60's. I have seen very few artists paint in this manner, although you my friend have it down to brilliant. It's beautiful and you make me want to pick up a knife and try it.
Great to see a new video from you Richard, I have to watch your last video as well. Beautiful art as always. Living amongst nature must be incredible 🙌🏻
So inspiring!!!! This is stunningly beautiful and I think you have hit the perfect note of realism vs. abstraction. I just love this piece of fine art.
👋Hi Richard, this beautiful painting and your detailed explanations during and at the end of the wonderful video actually make further words superfluous. The work is fabulous! I love the gorgeous blue sky, the rough rocks, the smooth and reflective water and the beautiful harmonious colors that together create an unforgettable symphony; you've composed quite a number of them already. Magnificent, Richard! Thank you for the presentation, have a nice weekend.👍💖
What a great video again Richard. Beautiful light on the rocks and the calm and dark water. I can really imagine how precious these places must feel. And Kangaroo too...perfect👍I think the chooks want to be painted too😉
Wow what a beautiful spot you were in. A real oasis. Thanks for sharing the adventure. To me the major change that brought the translucency happened between 33.17 and 33.33, and I'm guessing you just pulled thru with your knife, Whatever happened the effect was magic, and the water took on another dimension, just brilliant. Thanks I'll have to go and practice that. Thanks again for sharing, this was a great video, Bill
I love everything about this painting, everything. Thank you for sharing. Love your technique and how you shared it with us. Will have to watch some more of your videos. I know a place very similar to this in southern Idaho, U.S. It is a hot pool rock waterfall that drops into a small hot pool in the desert. I havent been there in years, dont know if it still exists or not, but i can see it on a canvas, just like the one here. Actually, id love to have it painted on the side of my home. Yep, love to see that every time i walked up the drive.
I truly loved this video! I loved the painting. You really showed me a lot I didn’t know regarding painting with a knife. I paint Great White Sharks. I think I’m going to try a pallet knife on a shark painting. Thanks for the education.
A wonderful painting! Not just the location and the handling of the paint but it’s also filled with joy - made me smile throughout. (What no “ happy little trees”? Apologies to Bob Ross but his stuff was dire.)
one of most beaufull art pieces that I even seen.
Rough and quick, my favorite style. Realistic impressionism. Great job.
Ричард ты самый лучший, твои картины просто шедевр 👍👍👍
Here many thanks 🤩
A masterpiece! The 3 central focus point around your composition are gorgeous, the temperature and the transitions are out of this world. Thanks for sharing.
The water is spot on! Really like the contrast between the rough, dry rocks, and the pool of water! It truely is a beautiful country.
It is! Thanks Paul :-)
