Patent can't be renewed.please check Law and also it's term is 20 years not 15-20 years.

Here rice has been explained in relation to its origin. Which America had wrongly done in its name. Since the origin of rice is from the Indo Burma region, India should get the patent for rice here. Agriculture related patent is not given in the name of any person.
