That owlbear gives me callback vibes to Carbot's Wowcraft series. The episode in Blackrock Mountain with the horde balance druid wrecking face as an owlkin.
It reminded me of the rune bears from Carbot’s Elden ring series. Except the owl bear is easier to manage and not nearly as psychotically violent with spazz attack mauling techniques and shotgun roars.
I love how you can mock the bugbear's "virility" if you're a barbarian or actually tell him that it could sell paintings of it in Baldur's Gate as a bard. The Devs had fun with this one for sure.
I finally played through this part, and I was disappointed that the owlbear was not, in fact, super-hospitable. If you have "Speak with Animals" she doesn't say "welcome to my home!" she says "weaklings, I'm going to eat you now" and you have to talk her out of it.
Easily one of the best animation styles that has such depth in its simplicity....the work is always better than it needs to be and I appreciate that greatly. Example: 0:49 (blood streak was unnecessary but I LOVE IT SOO MUCH!!!!)
If there is one thing i love about this game is owlbears, it is my favorite druid transformation and i pet the little owlbear cub every time i get to camp. Love them 🤓.
I can't tell if Haagen-Dazs(the barb) wants in on the bugbear/ogress action or just want to satisfy his bloodthirst. Either way keep them funny animation rolling.
wow all of these capture the mood so perfectly of the areas your in... especially the barn... everyone just freezing up in shock and the barb trying to panic jump out of there is PEAK!!!!!
I have no idea what the owlbear is saying after the Speak to Animals potion. Auto-CC gets some of it like "welcome to my home, make yourself comfortable" but much of it is nonsense like "don't forget to sweater."
I swear the barbarian always makes me laugh so hard in these videos. The stuffing of chests in his inventory, the leaping around, you guys knock it out of the park with your animations.

Fun fact, you can take that chest to the goblin camp, drop it in the middle of all the goblins and they will die trying to open the chest.
here goes another restart....
WoW!
I gotta try that
Do you earn xp from them doing this? I need to know for honor mode xD
I wanted to try that but I got zapped when trying to pick up the chest…
I just saw the barn door and I knew what was coming. I have seen that place... in too many clips...
Yup, lol
yeah that barn is the stuff of nightmares.
truly a scene that will go down the history of gaming as one of the classics
The question is,...... where was the barb trying to jump ?
If you don't interrupt those love birds they show up later in Moonrise Towers.
I lost it when the dwarf was stressfully trying to jump out of the barn.
hehe, not my impression. bcs sound and hit thrust imply other action. together with the corspe steal i think we have a desperate little guy here
@@p.alterego3424 I thought he collects the corpses to use them like a containers for loot. Or impov throwable weapons.
