Upper register playing on a brass instrument takes a tremendous amount of energy. More than most other instruments require. Your comment is correct. It does kind a look like that. LOL.

I absolutely love the Chicago covers that you do, but this, this has to be my favorite. I grew up on blood sweat and tears as a child and now is a 55 year old man I still listen to blood sweat and tears
Hats off to entire band, especially that trumpet player, WELL DONE. I'm listening, jamming along, along then it finally hits me "oh no, the trumpet solo..." As a former player myself, those are really hard notes to hit, especially right at the beginning.
I CANNOT stop watching & listening to this group! Since I ‘discovered’ them, here on UA-cam, 2 weeks ago I’ve played their entire catalog over & over (& over ...). As both a vocalist & horn player growing up in the ‘60s & ‘70’s in America I was obsessed with the great horn bands like Chicago; Blood Sweat & Tears; Earth, Wind & Fire, et. al.. I marvel at the exquisite musicianship displayed by all of these immensely talented people and only wish I could could ‘sit in’ with them! Leonid’s ability to cipher these tracks - BY EAR - is reminiscent of the scene in ‘Amadeus’ (movie about Mozart) where Mozart hears Salieri’s march played once by the Emperor Joseph II ... which leads to Mozart sitting down and playing it and then running many variations off with ease. Okay, back to the present from my obscure movie reference ... Leonid & Friends musicianship, obvious passion and enjoyment of playing keystone music from my youth has brought tremendous joy to me in what has been (like so many I suspect) one of the most difficult years of my 60 year-old life! (2020) I am a disabled Veteran living in chronic pain and fatigue from Parkinson’s disease. My medical providers encouraged me to return to my musical & artistic youthful endeavors for ‘Neuroplasticity’ ... and it’s been one of the most effective means of pushing back on chronic pain and keeps me from falling into the twin abyss of dopamine deficiency induced Anxiety & Depression. I, however, hit a very rough spot, 3 months ago and stopped painting and playing my music. That is ... UNTIL I heard Leonid & Friend’s opening riffs of Chicago’s “Make Me Smile”. ... which, in a profound way they did! Thank you so very much to all of you in Leonid & Friends for returning music, joy and hope back into my life!
I've been in the music biz for over 40 years, played a ton of covers and heard alot of cover bands, but this group simply wigs me out. They are my all time favorite tribute cover group. So tight and precise!
.😮😮😮...listning to this piece with eyes close...wow!! sounds exactly the original, no overtunes but just perfect...and you seemed enjoying the music too, ..what can i say...you're very good!!👍👍👍🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
BST and David Clayton Thomas didn't just play great music, but they performed a visual experience for all to enjoy. I first heard them in 1969, and Leonid and Friends have recreated the best cover I've ever heard...Bravo!
Moved to Vancouver in April of 1969. The guy who hired me, Freddie, gave me my chance, with this song playing through his Trusonic speakers! What an experience. And, Thank You, Freddie! I know you have passed on, however, there is no one in the industry....in the universe....that is kinder, more loving than you. Will always love you, brother, whereever you are now.

Wow! Excellent! I can’t believe how much Vasily sounds like David Clayton Thomas! Great work, guys!
You rock Vasily!! Remember that! A lot of people love hearing you guys have fun!!
Vasily's vocals are powerful and very attractive.
Maxim's trombone is always the best,
and Sergey's guitar is a must have for this band.
Fantastic no matter what group you cover!! You guys just have to do "One Fine Morning" by Lighthouse. It was a hit here in the States in the '70s. It's very Chicago-like. Please!!!! You would nail that, no problem!
That would be a most excellent cover!!!!
@@rhm5158 - Oh yeah!!!
Can’t say enough good stuff about this group! Love and appreciate their talent and willingness to share it with the masses!
PLEASE do a tribute to Steely Dan and cover Dirty Work. All of you guys are amazing. I'm overjoyed to have come across this band.
Theres a cover band here in northern California by the name of. AJa Vu that just Tears Up some Steely Dan.... you gotta catch their show. .all of them top shelf musicians like L&F... these guys are one of the Best Cover Bands EVER!
OH... someone posted that the it thought David Clayton Thomas had passed.... nope.
Hes 77. .. and I'd bet he'd be happy to sit In a set of two with L&F.... consummate professionals he and this band are )

Any song featuring Igor is an immediate favorite!! The guy hits all the right notes with charisma and punch!!
Outrageous.
David Clayton Thomas.
👍🎶🎵
I'm in tears. This is my favorite song from my favorite band. So forgotten and underrated. Blood, Sweat and Tears forever! Thank you Leonid & Friends for doing this wonderful and faithful interpretation of this song! Love and blessings from Portland, OR USA.
Magnificent. An overstatement? Nope. Credit where credit is due.
Vasily's accent is awesome to hear while he belts out these overtly American words...Seeing these guys do such a great job with a complex piece is inspiring
David Clayton-Thomas would be proud!
I absolutely love the Chicago covers that you do, but this, this has to be my favorite. I grew up on blood sweat and tears as a child and now is a 55 year old man I still listen to blood sweat and tears
Just wondering how on earth they got together to form this Amazing cover band!!! So much talent going around, yeah!!!
Hats off to entire band, especially that trumpet player, WELL DONE. I'm listening, jamming along, along then it finally hits me "oh no, the trumpet solo..." As a former player myself, those are really hard notes to hit, especially right at the beginning.
I love Blood ,Sweat and Tears. Great job as always especially to Vasily.Nice Lead vocal
I am a disabled Veteran living in chronic pain and fatigue from Parkinson’s disease.
Amazing. I saw Blood, Sweat & Tears in concert and this is as good as the original.
better, at least the trumpet which is way better, this guy is one of the absolute best
Phenomenal ! In particular the trumpet solo !!!
I've been in the music biz for over 40 years, played a ton of covers and heard alot of cover bands, but this group simply wigs me out. They are my all time favorite tribute cover group. So tight and precise!
Give The Beatles Got to get you into my life a try. Great horn section
Great suggestion.....Earth Wind and Fired did it...
Great Track.. I was in a band with a horn section for years. That tune was ALWAYS, a hit..
Chicago also did it as the first encore song during their mid 70s shows. Saw them 3 consecutive years in Greensboro N.C.
ew&f nailed it!!!!!!!
BST did it too
The whole group!! Have to say Igor is a monster!!
More badassery by that drummer!!
Vasily: "Huh!" Love it!
Vasily kicks major booty!! He got groove
His voice is awesome 👏🏻
Yes ... YES YES ... so happy to see Leonid & Friends ... tackle some of Blood Sweat & Tears' music. Do MORE !!
Trumpet player nails the hell out of it! You guys are all phenomenal !!!!!!
Woow that is an excellent cover congratulations!! please play Vehicle - The Ides Of March
Yes please!
They're all pretty amazing, but that drummer is still my favourite. As powerful as a locomotive and deadly accurate. Love him on every video.
.😮😮😮...listning to this piece with eyes close...wow!! sounds exactly the original, no overtunes but just perfect...and you seemed enjoying the music too, ..what can i say...you're very good!!👍👍👍🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
BST and David Clayton Thomas didn't just play great music, but they performed a visual experience for all to enjoy.
IN-FREAKIN-CREDIBLE!!!
Thank Y'all!!!
Chicago I and II were such Great albums, lot's more you can draw from. I love the additions in the arrangement, You guys are great, best of luck in your Tours. Bravo!
