Does the Dwarf 3 auto refocus periodically? If we use the scheduling/plan feature across many hours, the temp is likely to change significantly - that would affect both focus and dark frame selection…. Hoping that DwarfLabs can at some point refocus as needed and shift the dark frame sets appropriately!
Very informative video and great seeing these new features being beta tested, I have a question, one which I rarely seen answered, have you tested the Seestar S50 now that it has Mosaic mode, and if so how do they compare for imaging more faint objects than the usual "Tonight's best", more distant galaxies for example ...Charles
Hello. I have tested and xompared also with d3 will probaly make a live video with the tests. Mosaic mode will take more rime to image then normal so to get better signal to a faint target is best to use normal mode if fits in the field of view

@irishbogman your welcome, dwarf 3 will habe mosaic mode also and in a future update long exposures of 3 minutes, curently available only on beta testing that will test when sky will be clear. Wish you happy hollidays!
Hi! How can you achieve EQ mode and schedule function together? When I put the dwarf 3 in eq mode and then try to sync my schedule I get an error of Node. Also, when I get in to EQ mode, I cannot select GO TO in the atlas. Any idea?
Hello. I usualy use it in eqmode most of the time and all the features work. Scheduling, panorama. Atlas, goto, etc. Check if your dwarflab app needs update, and also check if you have the latest firmware. If still problems i think then is best to email dwarflab and try to resolve the issues
@@GalaxyArtMedia Seriously, choosing a location for shooting is also a problem for me. Light pollution in my area is 8-9. I don't have my own backyard. Parking is prohibited in local parks at night. A car stopped somewhere in such a cozy place arouses suspicion and attention of the police. After the police shone a flashlight on me and my smartphone on a tripod a couple of times, I got scared and now the thought of parking at night makes me stressed. I remember once as a child I was on a night fishing. It was in another country in the countryside. And when we were tired and lay down to sleep near a campfire under the open sky at midnight and I looked up ... and got scared - a wide white stripe (of the Milky Way) was passing across the entire sky. And when I see these amazing photos that people take with their smartphones, I understand in what places they take them.
Just to clarify--were you sitting in your car while taking the images with the Dwarf 3 on top of the car? If so, did the exposures other than when you opened and closed the car door come out without vibrations?

I was sitting in the car at wheel, soemtimes i also turn the engine on, was -2 degrees outside, first time i opened dorrs carefully and close slowly no vibration but when that person disturbed me with the car , i close harder the door after talking so made the vibrations, also the car was not in the most stabile place parked, ground near road.
@@GalaxyArtMedia Thanks, that's useful info. I am waiting to get the Dwarf 3 and my house has lots of trees around it, so I was wondering if I could drive somewhere with more open sky and sit in the car while it was working. I guess I can, and that's good news! I love the info on your channel.
@billlauretti7963 thank you very much, you can also use the tripod and place the d3 close to your car, i placed it on top of the car because i wanted to film myself also for the video. But was a usefull test for the live stacking that is similar with steong wind conditions

Not available on DWARF 2 yet, it's from their latest post, on which it says "These updates are not yet supported on DWARF 2 but will be available once stabilized."

Hello. It has the option for autofocus but i did not see yet for dark frames. Good question will ask dwarflab about it

I used Asi Fits View that is aprt of ASI Studio, you cand ownload it from ZWO website

A pity it says on their website you have to wait up to 5 months to get a DWARF 3.
Only for preorders, i Heard from January will start shiping normaly, but will ask more about it
