Great context EJ. Myself personally enjoy your videos as a very new cyclist I can kinda relate & enjoy seeing your progress. Great info from Tyler! Can’t wait to see paskenta
Well done, stay out of the Wind. It's coming. Was in my 3rd season of Racing when things seemed to slow down, & I would find myself sprinting for top places. You definitely have the Power. It's Mental now💯👍👊
That's so awesome having this experience with Tyler. Sounds like you're learning so much (seems it from the videos) and in 1 more year...damn look out peloton! Oh and "Tyler made quick work of me" yeah once you forced him to do 1300+ watts to stay and come around you!
I have been seeing the early season success that Luke Lamperti has had at the Tour of Oman with Soudal Quickstep. As he was being interviewed, when he was asked about his success, I was hoping that he would say, "well, there is this guy I trained with in NorCal named EJ....." Thanks for all of the content and good luck in the quest for Cat 1 this year!
hey EJ, loving the vids i do think you need a longer stem because i have seen that you also like to be as aero as you can and when sprinting it just feels extra nice to have a good stem length
@@Ejstrainingcamp Possibly, I think you just need more exposure to European champions of racing as well guys like hinault and mercx who were able to dominate races from the front, that is what I notice about your riding, you are a cat 2 with the volume of a professional rider so really you should try to make the races as difficult as possible to leverage your fitness more. To be honest a lot of the stuff that jeff teaches is approaching cycling from the other side of the equation (the old man side) You want to be doing 10 minute pulls at 400W into the bottom of the climbs and then pulling off to see what if anything the climbers still have left, If you let them walk it into the bottom of the climb they are going to be able to do their best V02 power in that 8.6/10 zone where they have advantage and at your weight it is probably impossible to follow. But if you have these guys doing 10w/kg surges the whole way into the bottom of the climb they will lose their appetite for V02 because the anaerobic will weigh on them. And also with your rider profile you should be doing everything that you can to keep the race chaotic always respond to moves and pull though to them and make it as hard as possible because clearly you have a superior anaerobic power and fitness to most riders around you.

TYLER is a straight beast! I raced with him in 2018, 2019, 2020. You will get your CAT 1 soon!! Keep at it :)

Good shit man. You planning to do an FTP update vid? Think we all wanna know where you're at !😄
It’s probs about 4000w at this point 😂
It’s coming! Probably once I get back from AZ!
well done EJ
Great content 👍
Most adorable Valentine's Day cycling content ever 💝 #Bromance
Any plans to make it back to Baker City this year?
Probably not :(
I think many of us would like to have all that wattage and mistakes versus brains worth of knowledge backed with not near enough ability. -U10
Can't help but notice, with a lot of recent accidents, that very few of this crew are running lights of any sorts. What gives?
ANOTHER Tyler is god video 🤦🏻♂️
🤷
You're a coward for removing your comment. If you have something to say, say it!!

Didn't you just win the VOS RR today?
hahahah. This title aged well i guess
I can't wait to see you not win at Valley of the Sun this week!
😂😂🤘
FR tho, good luck! I will be cheering you on after my races :)
Well, EJ didn’t not win at VOS!
You did awesome! Tyler needs to work on his cadence. You should help him with that
bro i can tell you 2 minutes in your bar width is what is holding you back.
I know! I got new bars hoping that would fix the problem, but I think it’s a stem issue now. I think I need a longer stem 🤘
