I bought mine just about a year ago for $325, and I've been exceptionally happy with it. No, it's not the fastest tablet in the world, but for media consumption, with its awesome OLED display and great speakers, it's unbeatable for the price. I literally use it every day basically as a secondary display, watching streaming media or movies on it while I play games on my main TV. Still amazing for me.
@@SPAYDE Yes and no. The screen is 2560x1536, and while that is higher than QHD/1440p 2560x1440, it is lower than 4K's 3840x2160 resolution. However, you definitely notice when you switch the resolution from 1080p to either 1440p or 4K, and the tablet is more than capable of smooth playback in those resolutions (as most tablets pretty much are, these days). Since it does support Widevine L1, it should handle Netflix in HDR just fine. I stream both Netflix and 4K HDR video from an SMB server to it and it handles it like a champ. Hope this answers your questions.
@@IlIlIlIlIlIllIlIlI I don't know, as while I stream HDR vids on it (using VLC), I only use Netflix in SD (though Netflix HDR content that I've viewed from outside the app works just great). If there is an issue with the app on Android, I don't know anything about it.
I bought this when it came out and generally liked it. With the latest updates, it's very laggy when scrolling while playing a UA-cam video. It was difficult to type this comment on it because it's too slow to type using swipe gestures. Also, when rotating the display, the quick access shade drops down on its own. It's pretty annoying. Just did a factory reset and updated everything and that didn't help. I'm planning on getting the OnePlus Tab 2 which will be announced tomorrow, but I'll definitely miss the OLED screen, micro SD slot and video out. Hopefully OnePlus has slightly less glitchy software.
Not really the same tablet, due to the CPU the software must be quite different... also, that version probably doesn't have GPS, but has better BT. Does your version have display port out?
For me, this tablet is excellent nearly 3 years after purchasing. Excellent screen, gorgeous display. Solid build quality, like, super solid. I only came here to leave a review today because I just picked it up after it tumbled down a flight of metal steps onto concrete and there’s not even a scratch. Beast. I’ve consistently used it as a second display for my MS Surface Book and it has never disappointed.
Got it for around $230 (8Gb+256Gb) including EU tax... after the newest patch it runs better than how it ran before, still waiting for the Android 14 update, theoretically it will be getting it. Managed to order a pen for it, but they are hard to come by, the pen alone costs $80(another place sells it for $120), still cheaper than other tablets with pen support that go for $450-800
Thanks for the video review mate. I brought the Lenovo P11 Pro Gen 2, 8GB Ram, 256Gb about a year ago now and my question is this: I WAS allowed to just use a HDMI micro to HDMI lead to my TV. Now for some reason, it wont work now, only mirror not with wire. What adaptor did you use or is there a work around? Thanks. God bless you.
Got mine in October 2022. I just turned it on this morning, it was fine. It connected to my BT earphone then turn off itself. Now it doesn't boot, not even charge using original charger. It has 75% charge before turning if off before bedtime. No response at all, not even vibration.
Im torn between this and Galaxy tab A9+ 128gb. I mainly use my tablet to watch videos and reading. Any recommendations? I like the screen on Lenovo but it's 2 years old and won't get any updates. A9+ will get more updates but can't use a smart pen.
I am returning back to graduate school after working for a couple years and I was wondering if this tablet was worth getting to use for class specific tasks, note taking and going over lecture material. I do like that the it had the port to hook up to a desktop which is my main work station. Is this worth getting since updates are not as frequent or would it better to go with another version? I am looking for something within this price range
It can be a bit slow when loading out of apps. I'm finishing my undergrad right now and it works fine as a secondary system next to my laptop. I wouldn't pay anything over 200 bucks for this thou4.
