The sennheiser sounds much nicer than the AT one, the AT mic sounds like a tea kettle is boiling in the distance. I do still hear a bit of floor noise with the sennheiser but i don’t know if that is just from my headphones, keep up the good work improving your studio setup and video style, your videos keep getting more and more refined
New rescue dog! Hello, puppy dog Fritz! 8D EDIT: I believe I heard every sound Fritz made (walking, whining, panting). I am using Logitech desktop speakers with a subwoofer underneath (not on headphones). I believe the 416 offers the better sound (though I don't know if I would pay $1,000 for such small differences). I'd like to see more of you and Fritz together! =)
Thanks for the feedback. Yes, it greatly depends on what the listener is using. I usually edit sound with headphones, but sometimes only with desktop speakers - and it makes a difference. I am pleased with the 416 sound - and will certainly re-purpose the AT mic - not put it in a drawer! Will also try to do some stuff with Fritz!

Hey give Fritz a treat for me. !
And the second one sounds better, less backround "air" if the makes sense and it does have a richer sound..
I got my 416 two weeks ago. It's possible we have the same factory lot number lol
I am at work and listening through $10 Amazon speakers. The Sennheiser did sound more crisp. I did not hear the dog walking.
The 416 for me it is way better as the other had a "noise"...
