Pomni strikes me as someone who's naturally very empathetic, but who has a hard time opening up or relating to people who at first glance appear to "have it all together" so to speak. This would explain why up until Kaufmo's funeral it seems to have not clicked for her that Ragatha has genuinely been trying to be friendly and helpful instead of patronizing or secretly passive aggressive.
To be fair, telling Pomni that Ragatha is not angry about being left for dead to save herself _after_ promising to bring Cain back to save Ragatha does imply that she *is* angry or, at the very least, hurt on a subconscious level at minimum.

100% believe Jax revealed he has his memory from the real world when he mentioned "Augustus Gloop"! Totally a clue that he is working for the powers behind the circus. I also think the scene where the trucks were going over the rough terrain gave us another hint. Everyone bounced around in the truck but the camera was locked on Jax's face so it appeared that his head wasnt moving. When you add that to his talking to the camera in the 1st ep but they tried to hide that fact by having Ragatha think he was looking at her in a "weird" way. His reward/payment is a free hand to entertain himself and perks like having "keys to everywhere" in the circus.
i ultimately think that whether it started for a different purpose the current goal of the circus is to create mindless A.I superweapons, the Abstracted human minds. Caine's role is to distract them with nonsense games while watching them slowly give up and Abstract. I suspect that the "Exit door" he created was designed to push Kaufmo over the edge. Appearing only to him, disappearing, and finally to be pointless when he does get inside.
Being that it just accomplished its task Caine didnt know to disable it yet so Pomni got caught up with it.... maybe because she and Kaufmo are both clown/jester types? 🤔❤
I also believe Caine's horrified expression, when he talked about confusing npc's for humans, was referring to Bubble. I think Bubble got in from a game and, as an AI, he stayed in the circus long enough to be invulnerable to Caine's powers. "Why are you like this?" "You PARASITE!" "Bubble, you can't say that"
Gooseworx mentioned on Twitter that they all remember their past, just not their names.
One problem; Pomni also shows she has memories of at least how it feels to live in the real world (she mentions how often people feel like nothing), not to mention she knows she put a headset on, generally reacted adversely to the fake computer in the fake exit etc. Jax isn't the only one with memories of the outside.

Yeah I'm also leaning into thinking Pomni was a gamer to get away from the crushing mundanity of life, but she does raise an interesting overlooked question, 'what time period is this?' Could be in the far future where ai is a retro technology, or could be back in the 80s like tron where ai is new, or anywhere inbetween.
Similarly Caine's comment about letting npcs blend in with the players has some curious & concerning implications.
What if he mixed them up in the past and did an oopsie.
@@Dipperdog_RPGirl Could be, I've seen a few theories that one of the cast is an npc, but I think it's way too early for it to hold water.
I think it's more likely that Caine can't tell who's who, so he preemptively removes any extras that linger from an adventure as a precaution.
My guess about the figurine.
Gangle is a timid girl in a scary confimusibg enviroment and has to deal with the following group of people.
Cain is scary
Bubble is menacing
Jax is a bully
Zooble is uncaring
Pomni hasnt really talked to her
Kinger is touh to talk to, as he is insane.
And then there is Rags. The only nice one who goes out of her way to comfort Gangle.
I think Gangle may have gotten a bit of a crush on the friendly gal.
Gangle then somehow got hold of a Rag Figurine and ... did something questionable with it.
And Jax found out.

Completely forgivable that you were too absorbed with the episode to provide live commentary, the text makes up for it.
Also I recommend checking out Glitch's show Meta Runners, it's a completed series with 3 seasons (28 episodes total). The entire series parodies gaming culture as a whole.
A very interesting continuation, makes me wonder what we could expect from here?
By the way, did anyone notice the Pizza Tower reference?

If the hands you're referring to are the ones that catch Pomni at the end then, actually no Jax and Caine were the only hands not there. Unless you had a slight spelling error and meant wasn't amongst the hands.

Oh, something that just came to my mind: Caine being equated to a god, recurring theme this episode. We see Loo outright state it with the stained glass image of him, and since he allegedly is creating all these NPCs and worlds, it would mean he chose for them to have that belief. And then with Gummigoo, he just completely unmakes him in an instant, with the excuse of not mixing up NPCs and Humans, but is that really the case, or does he not want an AI he created attaining the same level of self awareness he has?
If this show goes like other shows Glitch has produced, we're probably in for 5 more twists by the time the series is over.
