Note: This is a video on UA-cam that has been compressed a few times, once through Premier Pro and then UA-cam itself, meaning what you see here is not quite true to the game, but it should give you an idea of how powerful the 4080 and 4090 GPU's are.

bro!! Its so hard to find ultrawide 4080 benchmarks. Can you do more games? Would really appreciate it.

Sure thing, I will look into games I own that have built in benchmarks.
I will do the testing with a 3840x1600 Display Resolution (this is slightly higher than my current videos which are 3440x1440). Both are roughly the same aspect ratio, just one is actual 4K while the other is QHD+.
      - I will post a link to a playlist here when I have done.
Thank You, Hope these videos help out!

Hi, 3440 x 1440 isn't 4k tho, it's 4.9M pixels against 8.3M for 4K so it's close from the half of it (and it makes a big difference in performance)

UWQHD is 3440x1440 where as 4K (Which is wrong to call UHD that anyways) is 3840x2160. I am calling this 4K Since both UA-cam pick it up as 4K and the name 4K is wrong anyways.
True 4K is 4096 x 2160 which is slightly wider and is actually over 4K Pixels across. 3840x2160 is not True 4K, It is 3.8K which width wise is not much more than 3.4K, hence my naming.
As for 3840x2160, this game runs nearly exactly the same at that resolution, the change in FPS is about 5FPS. I prefer playing on my Ultra-Wide over my 3840x2160P ("4K") Monitor as it has much higher refresh rate.
For all intense and purpose, 4K and UWQHD are the same in this game, performance is negligible, yes "4K" has less FPS but not by much at all.

And yes I know 3440x1440 is not 4K, It is a form of QHD but 4K Itself is only 3840x2160 which isn't far from 3440x1440, so I think calling this 4K Still counts.
The performance differences between 4K, True 4K and 3.4K would be negligible so I am going to call this 4K for simplicity sakes.
Plus, UA-cam states this is a 4K aswell so whatever hah

Oh I just read that afterward, well it's close from twice the number of pixels and you're very wrong saying the performance differences are negligible, they are actually very big

You can just call it "uwqhd" instead of 4k, there are actually a lot of people looking for that as the format is getting more and more popular

    • @HeisenbergProd
      @HeisenbergProd Рік тому

I'd say you'll have 30 to 50% more fps in uwqhd compared to 4k so I think we can say it's quite noticable ahah

Cause like, someone who doesn't pay attention could hope to have 123 avg like you did, but in real 4k it would be closer to 80-90

@@HeisenbergProd Nope, 4K here states the 3840x2160P resolution, that is in fact named wrong since actual 4K is 4096x2160. I do not know why companies use the term 4K when they actually mean UHD.
3840x2160 is barely higher than 3440x1440 and FPS wise, for me they get roughly the same. So for simplicity sakes I called it 4K.
