Hi I was planning on going to Knoebels soon. I’m aware I can only use a chestmount to GoPro film. However on their website it mentions you need a case or shell protecting the GoPro camera itself or something? Some people have told me that I didn’t need that. I’m not sure though.
All you need is the chesty mount. I read that as well and made the mistake of buying the waterproof case. Didn’t need it. Go about 30-45 mins before opening and head to guest relations. Tell them you’re there for permit to film and they’ll inspect the harness and you’ll go on your way.
@@coasterboss1654 nah it’s a small family park that needs the attention. so as long as you have permission, they won’t say anything to you once you’re approved they’ll give you a little card with your name on it saying ride photography permit. I actually hid my harness under my shirt and then put a small hole in the center for the camera mount to pop out so it appeared that the camera was just hovering on my shirt. The operator would look at me when they saw the camera, and I would just lift my hand in the air with the card and they would just let me carry on without issue.
