Yup, its pretty awesome! The MACK family has taken great care of Europa Park, and its very cool to see a manufacturer have their own 'showcase' if you will. I've met the owner of MACK Rides and he was very nice! We got to tour the MACK rides factory before heading off to Europa Park for the day.
@@CoasterStudios it’s cool but it’s also partly why I think Europa park doesn’t have any super standout rides, cos they’re all essentially prototypes. Except for silver star and Wodan obviously.
MACK Rides is definitely a company that deserves a lot of credit for their cool rides. Of course before 2009, they were known for their family coasters, particularly the Wild Mouse coasters, so a lot of people did not recognize them as an extreme rides manufacturer. But over the last 10 years, they've improved so much that these guys are now good competitors for companies like B&M, Intamin, RMC, etc.
To anyone interested in the company's stance on its mild launches: in an interview of February 2020, the CEO of Mack Rides has spoken about the issue. It's in German, but I'll try my best to translate it here: Interviewer: Mack's launches are rather tame compared to others. Is this by choice or is it impossible to change? Mack CEO: At first, it was by choice. In the meantime, we see others, particularly Intamin, really pack a punch. You must consider, however, that reconstructing the launch is complex and takes its time. Furthermore, we picked Intrasys as our partner for the launches and currently don't have anyone else. We do talk to them regularly, however, and there is definitely something on its way! Interviewer: Do you try to compensate for the tame launches by building them onto an airtime hill? Mack CEO: Yes, but I was surprised that the effect is this severe. I really hadn't expected that. In summary, I am glad they are aware of the issue and are trying to fix it. I was kind of relieved that it's not just their deliberate choice and that we can hopefully expect some stronger launches in the future. Here's the link to the video, the launch-related questions start at 45:40. English subs are available. ua-cam.com/video/Upth7a7RZYA/v-deo.html
I'm surprised you didn't mention Sierra Sidewinder at Knotts Berry Farm. Probably the most intense "family" coasters that I've been on; it's my favorite and only Mack Spinning coaster I've been on.
@@robertvoyten4858 i dont find it super super intense, except maybe that helix. whats really nice about it is how satisfying and smooth it feels to free spin on that layout for whatever reason

Believe it or not, and hang with me here, Arthur was one of my favorite coasters at Europa. It was such a unique combination of dark ride and powered coaster. The cars turned and the scenes were just awesome. I rode it over and over even though I have no idea who Arthur is and couldn’t understand a word that was said. But he and the ride were cute as hell. Loading and capacity was excellent, too. It was efficient and like so many coasters at Europa, smooth, continuous moving.

Star Trek Operation Enterprise at Movie Park Germany was good fun. And you mentioned Dynamite at Plohn is just amazing! The ride, the theming, the presentation. Absolutely love it.

I’ve ridden Time Traveler many times this year and what’s so much fun is you get a different ride every time depending on how your car is spinning. The last car number 7 or 8 is for sure the best ride. I still really like Outlaw Run by RMC even though it’s starting to get a little rough after 11 years. Silver Dollar City just announced today a half a billion dollar expansion over the next 10 years so I look for another record setting coaster like Outlaw Run and Time Traveler were. 500 million dollars should result in at least a couple more great roller coaster’s.
My favourite Mack Coaster is DC Rivals. I’ve never traveled overseas, so the Aussie coasters are the only ones I’ve ridden. So we only have 3 Mack’s to choose from. (Soon to be 4 with our triple launch blue fire clone named “Steel Taipan”) 4. Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster 3. Storm Coaster 2. Steel Taipan (just assuming it will fit in here) 1. DC Rivals Hypercoaster
Do you have any plans to make an updated Top 25 most intense coasters you've ridden list? I think it would be interesting to see where rides like Flying Dinosaur, Karnan & Mindbender @ Galaxyland rank in comparison to Skyrush & I-305.
Maybe at the end of 2021 after the new rides open this year. As of now my top 25 hasn’t changed much at all from last year because I haven’t ridden anything new
It's funny how many people are making videos on MACK! Great Video! The only MACK ride that I have ridden was Cobra's Curse. It was a really fun roller coaster! I hope to ride Time Traveler soon.
Fun fact! Liseberg who owns Helix was the designer of the trains and when they gave this design to mack and mack rides then got permission to use it for other rides, for an example Icon.
It wasn’t on your list but after a few years away from MovieWorld I finally got to ride DC Rivals Hyper-coaster again Saturday just gone. I've been lucky enoigh to ride a fair number of the rides on this list like Icon, Lost gravity, and Helix, as well as 2 of their Bobsleds. Helix is definitely my favorite, but even their small coasters are good fun. Like there are 2 Mack coasters in my local area, a Wild mouse clone which runs nicely, and a powered coaster called Mælkevejen/The Milky Way Express, and for a powered coaster it is really quite good! Fast and fairly snappy with some decent G's. It actually replaced one with a nearly identical layout from the 80's but which was slower and jankier. Both versions had their advantages and disadvantages. I actually have the poster for that ride, its a fun one plus that poster art for it and the other attractions near it simply looks amazing

I haven't done Time Traveler yet, hopefully will this year. I've heard that vertical drop is one of the coolest coaster moments out there going down sideways, I believe it. I'd immagine it sort of feels like a wave turn but much more powerful.
My Favourite Mack coaster is Lost Gravity but I like Star Trek Operation Enterprise really much as well, it's such an underrated coaster and because I'm living in Belgium, I can't wait for Ride to happiness 😱
I love Blackpool pleasure beach, i know it's not amazing compared to the likes of Alton towers or even six flags but the rides are good for a sea side town and I'm lucky / proud to live there.

DC Rivals is honestly insane. The non inverting loop on it pulls -1.5 gs and that’s crazy to think about and even crazier to experience. My personal number 3. Probably the greatest airtime in the world
You need to come to Gold Coast, Australia (COVID permitting) post-2021. In addition the DC Rivals at MovieWorld, we have Steel Taipan going in at Dreamworld this year, just ten minutes up the road. It's being billed as a triple launch Blue Fire based layout, with a spinning car on the back which will be an upcharge. This could bring Dreamworld back into competition with the Village Roadshow Parks, which have been streets ahead over the last 15 years, especially after the Thunder River Rapids disaster and ... interesting management by Ardent Leisure (who own hotels and golf courses overseas, rather than theme parks). PS: the upcharge reverse seats on DC Rivals is worth it! Especially if you go during one of their after dark events you feel as if you are being dragged through the track by an angry dragon. Hell yes I will be paying to ride it again.

I haven't done Time Traveler yet, hopefully will this year. I've heard that vertical drop is one of the coolest coaster moments out there going down sideways, I believe it. I'd immagine it sort of feels like a wave turn but much more powerful.
euro mir is a top 10 coaster just because of the soundtrack
My Favourite Mack coaster is Lost Gravity but I like Star Trek Operation Enterprise really much as well, it's such an underrated coaster and because I'm living in Belgium, I can't wait for Ride to happiness 😱
Was about to click on a video about the Coronavirus; clicked here instead. Thanks; I probably would've hated the video! 10/10
5:04 is the best part of the vid
I love Blackpool pleasure beach, i know it's not amazing compared to the likes of Alton towers or even six flags but the rides are good for a sea side town and I'm lucky / proud to live there.
Top 10 Mack Coasters I've Ridden...
1) Slinky Dog Dash (Disney Hollywood), 2) Wild Maus (BG, Williamsburg), 3) Journey to Atlantis (Sea World Orlando), 4) Goofy's Sky School (Disney California), 5)...... I need to visit more parks :(
DC Rivals is honestly insane. The non inverting loop on it pulls -1.5 gs and that’s crazy to think about and even crazier to experience. My personal number 3. Probably the greatest airtime in the world
The rth in the top hat is from -1.8 to -2.1
Was this made in correspondence with the Coastoons vid?
I have no idea who that is
@@CoasterStudios you should watch some of his videos. He's a small youtuber but does some good content.

You should definitely do a top 10 B&Ms
Time traveler is on my bucket list
4th best manufacturer. Wish they built more rides in the US
I love these ranking vids please do more!
Are you planning to hopefully go to 🦃 this year or next to ride Hypercoaster?
I have only been on 3 mock coasters
Coast rider
Serria sidewinder
And flight of the hippagrif at ush (which might be a vekoma)
Time Traveler is my favorite coaster!
4:59 Blackpool Pleasure Beach is a beach. If there's something they're not, it's being landlocked 😝
Cool list
This would be my top 10
1 Helix
2 Icon
3 Lost Gravity
4 Blue Fire
5 Dynamite
6 Dwerelwind
7 Star Trek
8 Eurosat (origniel)
9 Euromir
10 Poseidon
