  • If you caught my video last week, you know that I picked up an AWE boost gauge. This video goes through the process for installing the gauge. This basic procedure is similar for most cars, but I will be demostrating on my Audi B5 S4! I hope this helps!
    Note: AWE no longer sells this product, consider ECS Tuning's selection below...

    Should I unplug the battery. Everything pretty much points to it but I’ve never seen a vid mention it

    Why would you wanna splice the boost hose into the fuel pressure line??

      Realized it’s not an actual rubber line, there’s a line hooked up coming out of the intake manifold that goes into that regulator

    No need to fuse the power wires?

    Do you know if it will work on a 97 A4 b5 1.8t?

      Yes, the vent pod geometry is the same, however the vacuum line will be in a different location and the wiring may be different.

    Nice video, Did you have to cut a circle out of the vent flaps to fit the gauge into the vent or was a new vent sent with the gauge?

    • @ModernEngineer
      @ModernEngineer  7 років тому

      SoggySteve06 the vent mount was part of the kit (I.e. a vent with a hole in it).

      Rafael Blanco -20 makes sense at idle, but you should get some movement on revs. Can you walk me through your process? How did you wire it? Where did you splice the boost hose.
