    I 100% agree that when you try to manipulate the torch, the outside sleeve slips and turns and pisses me off. Thank you for bringing this issue to all Miller welders with this torch.

    Sold my Miller 220 for a HTP 2500 and have never been more happy with a welding machine decision. The 220 was lacking, auto switch wouldn’t work half the time, the control board would glitch out and lock up, leads wear under rated for machine, tig and stick processes were mediocre at best and it wouldn’t run 6010 without a lot of problems! Got a ESAB 205 as well and would also choose it over the Miller 220! More options, better performance and no issues other than when it got extremely cold I got an error but this was resolved with the update from the included usb.

    Extremely happy with mine. I've never liked miller tig torches anyways so i sold it and bought a ck flex torch 😁

    So, during your unboxing & review at the end of the session you mentioned that you were a welding instructor. I am a car hobbyist and looking for a multiprocess solution as space is a premium. I can’t go the H.F. cheap welder route because buying garbage 2 x’s cost more than quality. I’m weighing out my options and feel like the 220 is great. The Green machine company has a model with plasma option, for nearly the same price optioned in a bundle. Did you consider the offshore machines? Or is serviceability a factor in your decision? It’s a sizable investment!

    I have the multimatic 220 would you be able to tell me what size adapter I would need for the output side of the regulator I took that part off bc it does not fit my hose and I can’t find a adapter that fits the threads inside the regulator

      From what I understand the tapped hole
      in the regulator, SHOULD be a 1/4 fnpt. With that said I would recommend just taking the regulator to whichever parts store is nearby and double checking that. I hope that helps.

    Can you weld tig without the foot pedal in this machine?

    Should have done the 110 on another plate for aluminum. Heat was already in the plate.

    Thank you for for the video…I too am considering buying this machine.
    One point of constructive critique…you repeat yourself too much…gets annoying.
    A concept, spoken once,clearly and concisely reflects better on you and causes the viewer to remain focused.
    👍👍

    What exactly was the issue with the breaker popping? And what size breakers did you need for the 120 and 240?

    • @jase_of_all_trades891
      @jase_of_all_trades891  Рік тому +2

      Just a bad breaker got it swapped out and haven’t had an issue since! As far as beakers I used a 15amp for all the 120 and a 60amp for the 240
