Stevens Model 301 410 ga Turkey Shotgun Sight in with Vortex Spitfire 1X Prism Scope

It looks like that red dot is mounted to high! How do you keep your cheek on the stock and still see through the red dot ? Just my opinion.

Like any scope they do set up higher than using the bead on the barrel.
I have this optic as low as it will mount. With this shotgun I can keep my jaw on the stock when shooting.
One other thing I have done is to tape a piece of water pipe foam insulation on top of the stock, and then put the cheek cover as seen on this gun.
