In this tutorial, I show 2 ways to achieve the classic look worn by celebrities all the time: Side Swept Retro Waves. You need either an 1 1/2" curling iron or a curling wand.
This style works best with medium-long hair for the side swept feel, but can easily be worked on a short bob too.

In the second technique, are you twisting your hair around the wand or are you wrapping it flat around the wand? It's hard to tell when it's sped up. Also, do you brush or finger brush after you curl your hair or leave it as is? Thanks

Honestly, it depends on your hair type, your curling iron and how well you set your style. Mine lasts me the whole day :) Then again, I have very responsive hair.
