I know old comment, but still he acted totally in character and heroically, and yet the others just let him believe they were enemies and called him an "idiot" for it. Totally their faults lol, he should hold no blame

looking back on this reminds me how much Lucius has grown. This encounter is the funniest thing yet and the animation is hilarious. I am SO happy Mark just rolled with it so we could have this fantastic time to look back on :)
I was looking for podcasts to listen to at work, had caught up on critical role, and needed something to keep me occupied while new ones got done. Found highrollers. Episode 1, they introduced their guys, and they seemed pretty good. This episode happened. And i knew i loved these guys!
It STILL bothers me how the party was like 'go attack!', this EPIC scene happened, and then the party spent like... TWENTY minutes giving him a huge guilt trip for doing exactly what they set him up to do. I love this animation tho ❤️
Not even the rest of the party. Most of the proverbial blood is on Quill/Tom’s wing/hands. Nova merely said they were “fairly aggressive” and told him to go milk it. Sentry and Ayla just told him it’s fine and went back to sleep. Quill was the only one that actually looked him square in the eye and said “you can take them alone. Attack. Have a bardic inspiration.” I’m surprised Sentry didn’t stop him. Nova not registering that they’re cows I’ll leave to her being still half asleep since Bulls can be aggressive but not cows. Ayla found it funny but Quill getting upset always seemed hypocritical to me since they knew Lucius was highly gullible and told him to attack the cows. Sentry more or less stayed a bystander the entire time honestly. Still an amazing scene and I’m so happy it happened.
