- Michael Huntley, Winner of season 24 of NBC's "The Voice," performed a rocking rendition of the National Anthem before Buffalo Bills vs. Los Angeles Chargers. This seems terrible, don't you think? I do not own this video. All rights go to the National Football League.
Huntley breathes new life into anything he touches. This is a magnificent version of this wonderful song.

That was the best rendition of the anthem I've heard in a long time. He didn't do any of that obnoxious peacocking and just let his strong voice and amazing range give the song all the glory it deserved!

Singing a notoriously difficult anthem without accompaniment at that level of national exposure must be nerve wracking. He did a great job.

Yes it’s a difficult song to sing but I think he’s been balling a cold or allergies, I noticed it in one of his interviews.

A bit off key here and there but a really difficult song to deliver in that setting plus really windy. Kudos to Huntley for belting out the ending 🎶

Just one word off pitch at the beginning, other than that he rocked it. Probably because of the Stadium, I imagine it can’t be easy

@@iamhere4now980they said one of the best not the best and it was. I haven't heard Chris Stapleton's version but I'm a fan of his as well so I have no doubt it was fabulous as well.

I don't think he was bad at all, I think this was right after his big win, he's not had a ton of time in front of the world and I'd say a lot of nerves got to him. They do say this is the hardest thing to sing, all the while adding nerves.. yeah I still love him and Fantasia just did it to and didn't sound fantastic 😉

It wasn't good and it sounded flat. A lot of people could sing this better. He was good on the voice, so maybe he had a cold or something. He should do a redo, but with accompainment.
He needed to put more feeling into it..way to fast and off key at times. Wow he did great of course on the voice.

I liked Huntley in the voice but it was clear, hes talented as fuck. Taking that into account, Ruby is the much better voice, she is a disciplined singer, Huntley needs to work on his control.

Ruby didn't really get second place Mara did. The polls show that Mara really got second place and Mara could sing the anthem better than Huntley.

He sang it better than 99% of those before him.
He did way better than those who stylize it to showcase themselves and then no one can sing along.
How did he win the voice? No feeling, no control of range, no understanding of timing. Mindless diction? It’s not just this performance either. What are you people hearing?
He was maybe my second favorite on The Voice, but I agree, his pronunciation could use work. He'll get there.
@@carlac33I think he has some kind of speech impediment. There are other people that have his style of singing who are better. I'm thinking of Jelly Roll and Chris Stapleton. I admit I know nothing about music and this is only my opinion.
