The good thing about going to a language school is that the teachers and the interaction will keep you motivated. There's always another day to look forward to where you can speak and listen to the language face to face with a native teacher. So even though I believe comprehensible input is enough to learn a language, going to a language school is a good "complement" to keep the motivation going.
Great episode, even though I understood only 50% of it! (I'm still a beginner, but I like to challenge myself a little bit) This may be off-topic, but can you recommend good Spanish schools or institutes in Barcelona? or do you know someone who knows better about this?
I live in Barcelona. I have one I DON'T recommend: Escola Oficial d'Idiomes de Barcelona It is a very difficult school to get into (because it is subsidised by the government) and is a great price. I did level A1 and A2 (I forced myself to return) and I hated it. 1. The classes are packed - about 30-35 students and you are elbow to elbow in a tiny desk. 2. The class has at least 3-5 students that are there only for a visa so they don't do any homework, study or participate. This makes it very difficult when over half the class is 'Work with your partner'. 3. You will do very little speaking in the classroom. The teacher expects you to go into stores and restaurants for speaking practice. 4. Over half the class failed the exam on the A1 and over half failed the A2 exam. I passed both, but it shows how little they prepare the students. They do offer a summer school that is a lot of fun. Only about 15 students in the classroom and it is very laid back and you get to do a lot more speaking. However it is just a summer school program and you will not get an official certificate. But it is a great way to spend a month and learn a lot. Just avoid the regular certificate classes. I don't have any schools to recommend, but have just the one to stay away from.
Fui a Valencia recientemente para estudiar español. La escuela se llama 'Don Quijote' y le recomiendo mucho. Hay otra escuela Don Quijote en Barcelona tambien.
How did Pablo allow conjugation tables to appear in his video?! 😂😂 Joking aside, great video as always
LOL! I thought the exact same thing!
The ending where they both cover the camera lens like Pablo 😂

I enjoyed this discussion. It's really great that you're mixing it up with different topics, and people, and even environments. Good work!
