As much as I was hoping there would have been no mistakes that slipped through, I was prepared for some to be found.
Eagle eye viewers noticed that Moss Man's image is flipped on the page I showed in the video. This led us to go through again, where we identified a total of 16 flipped images in the layout.
Now I suppose there were bound to be errors with so much in there. And 16 out of 8,232 images is a small amount. But still, I feel terrible about it and definitely take full responsibility for not noticing.
You guys deserve perfection. We'll be going through with a fine tooth comb looking for any mistakes so that they can be fixed when Dark Horse does a 2nd printing. If you want to wait for that printing, I totally understand.
For those of you who do get the 1st printing, please continue to let us know of any mistakes you come across. That way we can continue to make this book the best it can be.

Oh for the love of God, it's alright not to be perfect. There is only one who is perfect. We all make mistakes. Don't feel bad. Be thankful someone found it (now it can be even better the next time) and use it to learn how to do an even better job the next time. You will continue to grow, contribute even more, increase the value, expand the world, and positively motivate others to give the same amount of love (time, knowledge, sharing) that you continue to give to us all. Thank you for all that you have done.

Dan, even the first Harry Potter book had mistakes in its first edition. So you're in good company depending on your opinion of Harry Potter, I guess. A first edition is a first edition and owning a book with those two words on its copyright page makes it that much more valuable, in my opinion.

Wish someone would make such an in-depth book for the TMNT and Real Ghostbusters toylines.
You should check out a book that recently came out called Rad Plastic. It covers the entire original playmates line.
@@timothyoakhart8860 I bought Rad Plastic. As good as it is, it's nowhere near as in-depth as this MotU one. It mostly goes through how they were designed and made. Doesn't even show most of the toys and vehicles/playsets.

I'm not much of a collector, but I still enjoy watching the videos and seeing these classic toys. This book is perfect. I get to check everything out without spending mega bucks and making a ton of space.

Wow, this is incredible I've always thought the books Mark Bellomo did for Transformers and GI Joe where amazing but this just blows them away, Full page per toy, multiple angles of the figures, packaging shots? Pages showing the playsets and the features they came with? This is an EPIC toy guide and really raises the bar, if your a He-Man fan this is a simply amazing release, amazing work! If you don't get this book now mark my words you will be paying a ton for it through Ebay later

My brother gave me a copy of your book for Christmas. It was a total surprise. An Amazon package arrived on the porch Christmas Eve morning, and it was HEAVY. We swapped gifts in the early afternoon and I was very pleased when I opened this. Such a great book!

I got my copy last week and I want to congratulate you on a solid book! Only one thing is UNFORGIVABLE in my opinion: listing the entries alphabetically rather than according to production order. It's impossible to see the chronological evolution of the line this way, and for me that's a huge part of the fun in a vintage toy book. You know what you have to do Dan for the second revised edition... I'll happily fork over my cash once more.

The part at the end where you talk about the board games had me cracking up. Someone had a twisted sense of humor, naming that artifact a "specullum". That's actually a gynecology instrument...since it's a family channel, I won't elaborate on what it's for. But thanks for the good laugh.

Got it and this book is amazing! So much detail! I've only had it one night and a morning, and I am so happy with the VTG Wonderbread He-Man rundown. It was a very interesting read.
