i love your monthly book videos as i read a lot and your reviews and stuff are always so entertaining. when i read acosf i really felt like it should of been one of the best books i read i was really trying to make myself like it at the time i read it and i was really excited to read it but it just turned out to be such a waste of time i was so disappointed omg i completely agree with your view on it. this was also very tingly as all your videos always are. i'm really looking forward to watching your 10k special but take your time with that i'm sure it'll be amazing and congrats on 10 now 15k !!

ACOSF was really hard for me to get through too! I’m glad Nesta begins to heal and repair relationships, but it doesn’t excuse her behavior. Just because she is hurting, doesn’t mean it’s okay for her to hurt others. Her hurting others being a form of self harm doesn’t make it okay. And trauma is not an excuse to hurt other people. Everyone in these books has gone through a lot of trauma. It’s like she’s acting like a villain to her loved ones but then made herself a victim. I don’t hate Nesta, but I definitely prefer Feyre.
You hit the nail on the head here, it was genuinely hard to read because it could have been handled way better. Disappointing but hopefully the next one will be better!

I just finished reading ACOTAR. started reading ACOMAF. Would rate ACOTAR 3.5/5. Should I bother with the rest of the series. In my opinion the relationships are too physical and like you said not enough swooning or real romance.
You gotta give “The Naturals” by Jenifer Lynn Barnes a chance prolly my recent most favourite books Think CSI but with a natural ability to profile ppl and a group of young adult teens trying to catch killers all while a crazy bigger story unfolds :)
I read ACOWAR the day it released and still can't bring myself to read ACOSF. I'm never gonna be on board for hating Feyre, and following Nesta for 800-something pages does not sound appealing. The whole book made me so annoyed I’m excited too! People hate on her even though we still know nothing about her character
Love that that we have similar book opinions. BUT the novella is so important to bridge the OG trilogy and the upcoming books, especially in terms of romantic pairings (Might be biased but there are cute Elain and Azriel moments, and you learn a bit about Mor) Also the novella is only 3rd person when It's Cassian or Mor's POV. Feyre and Rhys are still 1st POV. As someone who had read the trilogy in 2017, I was really looking forward to Nesta's story especially after reading the novella...but acosf was disappointing to say the least. I always assumed Nesta's hatred was going to be explained better....but it was just overdone. I do think her friends were such a cute addition, but it was annoying that we didn't get to see the sisters repairing their relationship. And Poor Cassian he lacked story and personality in this book . I just hope the author doesn't do the same with Elain and Azriel.
Ah that’s interesting, I’ve heard a lot of slander with the novella and people just calling it a hallmark Christmas movie so I wasn’t bothered at all, I also got it spoiled before moving on to ACOSF which was annoying. Azriel is my fave so I might have to read it for his sake haha! Nesta’s story should have been way better, her nastiness was essentially the focus of 80% of the book :/ completely agree with you about her friends and sister relationships, the ending was so rushed for me it just didn’t feel genuine. Looking forward to the next one tho!

And of course Azriel being Azriel (he’s my fav too) 🌚 I just found his interactions with Elain in the novella to be soooo cute and definitely not something to miss if you like them 😭 it made the switch they had in acosf very intriguing imo! As for Nesta…yeah 🥲🥲 I just wish sjm developed her story better, I understand that it was a healing journey for the author too but still. I just hope the next book is better in terms of everything ! I have a vid of my top 5 fave books on my channel if you’re interested, I only really read fiction! As for pages a day it really depends how busy I am, I try to read each night so if I had to estimate maybe 50-100 a day, but can be hundreds if I’m not busy🤣
Logically, you can deduct it does, because you expose yourselft to read and learn words that you would not hear/read more frecuently in your enviroment

I would say generally, yes.
I think since reading on kindle unlimited it’ll have improved more vs reading physical books, because I can search words way faster!
