Worth pointing out with Inescapable Wrath, while you don't get the charge bonus, you aren't the active player so you'll still get to choose the first unit to fight. So if that's the only fight going on that turn, you're still effectively charging.
I really hope they add Deathwing and Ravenwing keyword to the Lion. Weird how he doesn't benefits from any of buffs they provide across all the different detachments considering he's the man.
I love that you can run a Stormraven (which is Ravenwing) in hover mode with a Brutalis (which is Deathwing) embarked, disembark the Brutalis, shoot the hell out of whatever is in front of the two of them, charge the hovering Stormraven into a target (which will require a Desperate Escape check if they want to fall back), and then charge the Brutalis into that target on your opponent’s turn! The play pattern for turn 1 shenanigans, followed by your second and third turn threats which free up your units to score secondary objectives, and hold down primaries.
Here is the army I came up with to maximize the number of threats available out of the detachment: Azrael Ezekial Captain: Calabanite Armaments Ancient in Terminator Armor: Fulgus Magna 3x5 Assault Intercessors 5 DW Knights 5 Infiltrators 5 Scouts 2 ATVs Brutalis Darkshroud Repulsor Hammerstrike Stormraven
Nice list, I’d drop one dread and the intercessors for some scouts and infiltrators. Also drop Sammael for the uppy downy termie Captain. I really like the speeder and Redeemer.
I like it. You can go all Dreadnoughts, fit 8 in there with Outriders and Speeders. Or you can go Heavy on Repulsors backed by Redemptors and Bladeguard, or dump a bunch of Deathwing Knights on the board. Lots of play here.
Yo the nids detachment is awesome. Actually has me excited about it O wait... damit... the 1st time I read it as 5+ feel no pain. Invulnerable save is much less interesting. But still semi excited
This Detachment sounds interesting, I personally don't play Dark Angels, but getting +2 to charge with Deathwing unit after a Ravenwing is in combat with an enemy unit does seem pretty powerful, but at the same time is it better than Gladius Task Force? I would say no, are the stratagems better than GTF, niche situations yes, but overall no. I don't know how many players are going to jump ship from Inner-Circle/GTF to this. But it does feel playable unlike Lost Brethren in the Blood Angels detachment.
Honestly 10 Deatheing terminator and a Captain is not das easy to deal with. With the free Charge rerolls, and the free Stratagem is adds a lot of value to this big squad.
Looks like "New Recruit". I use it myself. It is made by the same guys who curated the data for Battlescribe. It is web-based and therefore platform agnostic.
I was explaining to a friend why this is so dumb, it’s like gw releasing a necron detachment called ctan god killer legion and then the detachment rule doesn’t work for ctan.

Yea exactly, if you use the strat to charge into something that didn't charge anything else, you swing first. Crazy

This detachment belongs in the Admech codex

How do these work for armies that already have a codex out? For example, today's was tyranids. Are they just treated as being added to the codex?
Addons to the codex detachment but all the rules and costs are in the pdfs
Too bad you can’t scan the code in the back of the codexes and have these pulled into the app.
New here and may be a dumb question, but what app are you using to build your list?
It's called New Recruit
It's the best and highly recommend it

I died at your pronunciation of Calibanite. LoL
It's ok. I got better
I wander what will they conjure for regular Space Marines
You mean inferior Inferior Space Marines?
@@boutinpowered8373yeah, could be a way to make them great again 😂
Hmmm crimson fists? The whole "understrength chapter" vibe maybe ? Or some "truth seeking" thing like blood ravens or thier wd homebrew chapter
Yeah, i'd love for my blood ravens to have an option to take any non chaos relic from the game.
Are inner circle companions not deathwing.
They are
Inner Circle count as Bladeguard so they get the Deathwing keyword.

At least it's in sync 😂
