Been doing lots of late night streams over the holidays to try and fund our new stream room build! Come give me dat Twitch Prime free sub :) www.twitch.tv/chainbrain
I know that Hail to the King was largely meant to be a tribute to a bunch of metal bands that influenced them (a big one being Metallica) so it makes sense that this is their homage to Sad But True, and I know that people shit on the band for ripping off that song but both are some of my favourite Metallica and A7X songs so I love this one
This album got hate(and maybe stills does?) because people don't understand what inspiration is but it's definitely solid. Hope one day we get to see him play Requiem. Without a doubt one of the heaviest and most bad ass A7X songs! 🤘🤘🤘
I learning this song right now and last night I searched “Chainbrain this means war” and there was nothing and I hop on UA-cam today and see this. You should’ve seen the look on my face, what are the odds 😂
Well the whole album was a bunch of different bands that influenced A7X and the song Hail To The King was definitely inspired by AC/DC’s Thunderstruck just by Synyster Gates guitar track
A lot of people shit on a7x for being derviative of other bands or just simply copying other bands, but this is really the only song where I think that criticism is valid
@@jacksonarnold9669 was their version of paranoid and flash of the blade supposed to be on hail to the king? I saw somewhere that diamonds in the rough was just a big collection of left overs from hail to the king and self titled

Hail to the king was a big tribute album to their metal idols, so literally it’s their version of sad but true haha

This is their version of Sad But True and Shepherd of Fire is their version of Enter Sandman, and I love them equally
I still love this riff, I remember this is like the 3rd song I’d heard by them

I don't know about heaviest but definitely badass
Even tho it’s one of my lesser favorite albums I still really love the album and it all the songs on it are pretty damn good

hahahah the universe had lead you to this moment
This album was sort of their spin on the black album by Metallica.

Can't wait for the mixed version. Sad but This Means War
Sad but War
At this point make a list of all the Avenged Sevenfold songs you HAVEN’T played lol
This much better than sad but true, ngl
0:36 Candy Shop
Omg lmao I never heard the resemblance till now
I had to listen to candy shop again but omg I hear it 😂😂

"2000 views and I'm drunk" should be a quote on a t-shirt in your merch catalog bro.
This Means War>Sad but true
Yeesh, what drugs are you on

Mom, can we have Sad But True
No we have Sad But True at home
Sad But True at home:
Ngl i like this better than sad but true
This is the song that got me into metal music. WWE2k15 soundtrack
Man I can’t believe the Band that got Famous From Stanger Things Copied A7X…what has this world come too!
I don't care what anyone says, this is a great album.
Drunk chainbrain letting his true feelings slip
Its Sad but True but most of the composition is like inverted as far as where the highs and lows are.
"doing time" off this same album also sounds a lot like guns n roses
Sure is, the way he sings the verses is very axel-like, even has "everyones doing their time" which is a lyric in Paradise City.
@@CCViBritannia and that opening fry scream at the beginning is very axel like
hail to the king is a tribute album

Chainbrain + A7X = ❤️ :D
drunk + 2k viewers lmaooo 😂
To end of the rapture please bro
Bruh he did better in that solo than rocksmith said he did
That is why HttK is their worst album imo. It went beyond “paying tribute” to the bands that influenced them and basically ripped all of them off.
