- Turn a food grade bucket of any size into a full system, with an air tight closed transfer. You waited too long for that beer to ferment, to go and ruin it while getting it into the keg. This is part 2 of the St. Paddy's episode last week.
Here is another great video from HOMEBREW 4 LIFE about cheap fermenters you should watch, you can combine our 2 ideas and make the one perfect for you.
• WHICH HOMEBREW FERMENT...

Good stuff. All brewing stuff is interesting. I wish I had time to tinker like this but got kiddies etc. Plus its awesome because you have so much equipment that it gives us a better idea of what's possible and then we can decide what we want to spend.
All good stuff. Keep up the work. Good sense of humor too. Love it.
Where r u getting your duotight fittings from? I looked on Amazon, and their prices are absurd.
What if you jerry rig an assembly that puts weight down on that cambro lid. Then it'll take way more psi.
Dude that french omelette is serious culinary technique nj.
Just so you are aware 1Psi on and 8inch circular lid is equivalent to just over 50 pounds pushing up in said lid
Green fizzy bubbly? What is that?
great idea how about a bucket with a screw top lid
Think you had to many ,you are all over the place.
Dig your videos, can I ask if you're a Soundgarden or Chris Cornell fan? No reason...
Perfect for Kombucha. Small batches, full view of process, Pressure irrelevant for that process. Great ideas. Subbed, keep 'em coming.
Any discounts, please?
Heck yea, experimenting is awesome. I like to think there is always a better way to do things. Cant move forward without trying new things. And a cheaper way is an added bonus! Keep the content coming, your personality is very fitting for the channel, great stuff!. Thanks!
Psi is pound per square in. If that lid is a foot in diameter that means at 1psi it’s holding over 100 pounds
What is the parts list please?
Brilliant timing, you motivated me to try a CO2 transfer for the PicoBrew keg and it worked perfect. No more firing up the PicoC just to pump beer with air for me.
Your video and you are all over the place!
I didn't know I Love the energy
Mad scientist. I love yr content
Thanks Cruz, I'll keep doing weirder stuff. It is more fun that way!
Best beer ASMR to date… keep ‘em coming
Love the DIY ethos man. Keep up the good work. I adapted my plastic fermenter similarly, but with a tap just above the trub line, the duotight connection was inspired though.
Yes, I'm planning on doing the same thing then feed the keg gas line right back into the fermenter. That way I can do a closed transfer with just gravity and not waste more CO2. Planning to also hook up my kegs to the primary and use the CO2 from the ferment to pre-purge my keg. No place close to where i live to refill CO2, so it is precious and must be saved!
AS a fellow tinkerer, I appreciate watching the process.
Yeah, I think it is better for me to go in blind and just edit out the boring stuff
