Can't believe Formula1 is ready to move away from Spa in favour of newer circuits like Miami and La Vagas beyond 2023. Good move with the addition of gravel because for years cars kept abusing track limits. Now they can't
Glad you liked it man! Remember someone was asking about the changes in the community so i thought it would be interesting to share! Now get your butt over here at some point :)
@@kzannos To drive a car like that around Spa, that's a life-long dream of mine. ❤ One day I would love to be able to do that but the trip is too expensive for me for the foreseeable future. Maybe I can crash at you place. 😃
Nice overview Kostas! You did not discuss changes at Eau Rouge … more gravel I’ll bet … La Source is going to now see a lot of offs I think and Pouhan as well!
I drove once in Spa. Not with Ferrari! Actually 1 year ago. It was during a 2days training with RACB. Definitely a life time experience. I am looking forward to my next time . By the way, since you made the changes for the motorbikes, I think it should be also useful to show the track by riding ..
How can the FIA drop Spa from hosting a F1 event. Perhaps a Saudi Arabian prince could buy the circuit and fill the pockets of the FIA with "Loads of Money"
First of all, corners will vary depending on a car you drive. F1 car would pass through Eau Rouge/Raidillon flat, meaning that it's not even a proper corner anymore, so I don't know why it's valued so much. Pouhon is better than Eau Rouge/Raidillon. Honestly, Les Combes and even Bruxelles are two of the best corners/sections on entire track. Pouhon is also overrated. As for Blanchimont explain me why do you think it's better than for example Bill Mitchell Bend on Road America?
Why gravel, this is crap, the tarmac was way better for F1. Now the cars that get pushed off are going to get beached. Then you'll have more gravel on the racing surface too. Gravel is garbage.
I love the gravel, this track just got even more ruthless
Here, used to be a prosperous growing village, now, gravel.
😂
Sounds accurate! :)
Hahahaha
Brilliant

F1 Turn 1 will be turned into carnage ! Haha exiting to see the changes in action
Gravel outside of the tarmac, just like a racetrack should be
Tbh more circuits should have gravel.
Carlos is in trouble
Awesome look at the new track, Zannos. What a lovely car to get to drive around it too. ❤
Andy can be found everywhere, it seems :)
Indeed a nice view of the new features of Spa, can't wait to see cars ending up in the new gravel traps :D

Most beautiful circuit in the world - would be a huge mistake to go and replace it with a street track. But why are there so little grandstands ?
You have bronze ticket there there are fans all around track
The landscape and elevation limits how big grandstands can be

tried the new corner last week. really fun and weird corner
I still don't think Spa is a place for the bikes to race, the runoff areas just aren't long enough for a lot of the corners
Hated and still hate that they destroyed the original bus stop chicane!
the music 💀🎺
Nice video ! and nice car ! 🚘
Best race track in the world in Mt Panorama 👀🇦🇺 #Bias
Still way too much tarmac run-off but definetly an improvement
0:38 That's Raidillon actually.
0:41 - It's Raidillon actually :) Eau Rouge is hidden behind car
Vale never rode this track. Would love to see him on it

😀So so right..
It’s raidillon actually
It's eau rouge and raidillon.
Spavel
So noone really cares to drive the new corner?! :O
Apart from those of us who raced on the original layout, with the proper Bus Stop and LOTS of gravel, no F1 parking areas then. 😂

U want to some help with renovations
GET RID OF THAT CRAP CHICANE AND PUT BACK IN THE OG BUS STOP

Gravel is awesome, you make a mistake you get penalized.
Spa is for all types of racing, not just F1.
@@camerona_ not for bikes!
Gravel is MUCH bette than tarmac. It’s proper punishment for making a mistake. It’s the way racing has and should always be.
