I wonder what the name of the song plays at in the 2050s. Also, I heard that same song that someone used in a cities skylines car ride video too, and their first one also
@@Historicaleducation-pm1li its mostly the same city just with more billboards, some newer modern buildings at street level, a better train and a darker colour pallet, all the high-rise are exactly the same as the 2020s just covered in billboards, which i think is a fairly realistic change, plus its all speculative and done just for the cool builds not complete accuracy :)

sadly it seems that way, but we’ve gotten through tenser situations in the past without a nuclear escalation and we can only hope we’ll do so again, lets hope for the best because if the worst happens most of us wont be around to know any different
2:04 Hey, what happened to the Jacobian era? By which I mean the times of James I, Guy Fawkes, Puritans leaving for the new world, and the absolutist reign of Charles I?
Just curious, why did you focus on that specific unknown patch of London rather than the part where Tower Bridge, Palace of Westminster, and Big Ben are? Don't you think they's be more recognizable?
the street shown in the video isnt based on any individual real street in london, its more a collection of architectural styles that were popular at different periods. although there are recognisable buildings present such as Battersea power station, canary wharf, and the shard.
its not the Japanese flag but there was an implied invasion/takeover, i like to think of it more like we were “bought” rather than invaded as that fits the late stage capitalism of cyberpunk but its all theoretical and open to interpretation :)
Not to be a party boomer, but you got the saxons all wrong sir. They reused much of the left behind roman structures. Also not rightfully depicted to showcase a "tribal" look. They were much more sophisticated in their building techniques. Otherwise entertaining vid
unfortunately i dont know much about the history of the Philippines so id feel disingenuous trying to recreate it but hopefully someone more knowledgeable will :)
@Cult_of_MJ The joke was that the futuristic 2200s London looked like the top map of Parkour Civilization. I still like the aesthetic though, very clean and futuristic
just checked out their video, very cool too, nice builds but different presentation style. i think i prefer mine as its rooted in a real cities history but i think the overall production of theirs is better :)

I love how the old buildings are becoming increasingly deteriorated and weathered throughout the timeline. Really adds immersion.
The lack of dental offices is really accurate. Good job
this stereotype annoys me but this comment actually made me laugh xD
OMG yes💀🙏
A truly fascinating telling if londons history, the 1920s, was my favorite part.
Also, I love how the church stays roughly the same.

The road from the 40's was hyper realistic, good job!
thank you, it felt weird to blow up my own build but it worked out well in the end :)
I like how the church is still standing even when being under a big flat plate, it’s still there, waiting for the reverend to and people to come…
I love how it turns from modern to cyberpunk to solarpunk (2020-2200)
gotta get through the tough times to get to the good ones :)
Bro has used all the metal songs just for a minecraft video
you're very talented. keep it up i hope you get the recognition you deserve.
thank you, youtube is tough but no harm in trying, ill keep going as long as i find building fun :)
Can you please do this for other cities too? Berlin, Moscow, Rome or Paris would also be very interesting
Lol, the 2050's literally being the 1980's vision of a cyberpunk future. (love it tho)
Love it! keep up the good work!
Love the vid man, though lack of villagers kinda ruin the immersion for me but I enjoy it ^_^

there wasnt too much of an architectural shift between Tudor and Jacobean so i just jumped ahead to Georgian when all the terraced houses were built
