- The plaintiffs say they rented an apartment from the defendant, who lived adjacent to them. They claim she has an issue with men and kicked them out, so they’re suing. The defendant claims the plaintiffs continually broke the rules, so she ended their tenancy and returned their security deposit. She’s countersuing for damages and rent owed.
The defendant's laugh at the end was a straight up witch's cackle.

Man, lesson to this story it's better to just leave this alone. The landlord stated she just wanted to be done with the tenants but since they sued her she will counter sue. And won. Some things are better just left alone.

I love people like that! She knows that if he keeps it up, it’s going to cause issue and told them. Just goes to show when you are honest, whether it was your proudest moment or not, the truth will win out!

The plaintiffs appeared dishonest right after they showed the yard video. Then the lady proved herself to be petty when she didn't want the Amazon package because "she touched it and she has dogs" wtw??? And then they proved themselves to be liars when the defendant said they smoked weed and the woman shook her head from side-to-side NO that that was not true and then the husband came out and admitted it. Right after he admitted it, wifey sits back in her chair, hand on forehead and mumbles something to the husband; likely mumbling "you shouldn't admit that to the judge". They got what they deserved!!!!

I talked to my mom a least twice a day when I moved about 4 hours away. Now that she is gone, I treasure the fact that we were so close and that no matter how old I got, you still need Mom! I love seeing that passed down through families as I know it did from your mother to you to your daughters. Next time you see your Mom, give her an extra hug for me! ❤️

Same here, I talked to my mom multiple times a day. I mean we talked about little things or jokes not just serious matters. It was really hard after she passed because I wanted to pick up the phone, I had to catch myself multiple times until it became real. Its been 10yrs since she passed, oh how I miss her.

Best victory ever that I’ve seen watching this! Her laugh was felt and ran the plaintiffs right off the internet. Some personalities just don’t mix at all. These litigants are a perfect example. The plaintiff’s brought this on themselves thinking she did them wrong by evicting them. We all know as long as its within the laws of their state that is exactly what she as the property owner can do! The defendant owed them no special treatment for renting for so many years. So many cases I’ve seen where the tenets assumes the longer they’ve been renting from the landlord the more rights they have. Their entitled is the right word. Anyhow, the plaintiff’s smiling and looking at the screen was kinda creepy. Like their capable of some sneaky stuff. But no worries for the defendant in that department. That cackle told me real quick she knows how to bust loose if need be. $1900 sure is a victory especially when she was going to let it slide before the plaintiff’s nonsense. Good for her!!

he's off his head, if you smoke weed in the house then of course it's going to leave it's mark, if you smoke/vape weed with moderate to heavy use then the smell can cling to your clothes, curtains and furnishings, and it does even cling to the walls, which they would have seen had they wiped down the walls and cleaned the windowsills

Why would you have to give notice that you are leaving after someone gives you an order to leave within 60 days

It's so the landlord is not out any money. She gives them 60 days to leave, and they can leave before that 60th day, but they need to tell her 30 days before they leave regardless so she can list the property and have a new tenant when the old tenants leave. That way she doesn't have to go a month paying a mortgage.

Where they live, landlords must give at least 60 days' notice that they are ending the month-month tenancy. During that time, tenants are still responsible for rent until their tenancy ends. If they gave the landlord a timely 30-day notice, they wouldn’t be responsible for rent next month. In this case, the landlord returned their security deposit, and she wasn’t going to charge them November’s rent until they sued her over things she’s not responsible for.
