@@MrKingkat sadly no longer own that sled. Sold it a few years. It was mint!! The 76s were just a free air option, the 77 and 78 were optional those years but one thing to note is that the 78 free airs was basically a carryover 77 model with 78 serial numbers and the fan cooled model got the new color scheme with new suspension upgrade and lastly the 79s were only offered with just fan cooled engine
@@MrKingkat I have 3 1976s free airs and a 1978 fan cooled and definitely like the power of a free air. If you do plan on finding a pantera free air model I suggest looking for a 77 or 78 model since those years has a way better motor mount setup. The 76s are nice but they had a one year only motor mount setup which has the very the hard to find rubber motor mounts and the sled vibrates horribly too but I do like the looks of the 76s though!
One of the best machine I ever owned. Wish I could go back in time to the good old days of snowmobiling.

@ oh yes. I remember replacing a on the 73-74 eltigre and a 295 rotary Panther.
I’ll definitely keep that in mind.
