- I just wanted to shoot a quick video to showcase the work of an amazing craftsman. I recently had Casey Kraemer of Crow Dog Sloyd fit handles and make sheaths for some of my new Nic Westermann tools and wanted to share the results with you all. I misspoke at 4:09 and said "Twca Cams". What I meant to say was "those of you who have carved bowls or Kuksas". Other than than little hiccup, enjoy!
Check Casey out on Facebook at / crowdogslojd

Thanks, Sean! I’m honored, truly! Was a real pleasure. 🙂
Thanks again. I couldn’t be happier with the results🤝
Who on God's green earth would thumb down a video like this?!
Can’t please everyone I suppose
Very controversial, I'm sure.
Beautiful tools!
really nice work indeed. Love those hook sleeves. I've got a similar but much more lowbrow simple soft leather sleeping bag approach to covering my twca cams. Great solve.
Great video! Do you find getting both left and right hand versions of the same spoon knife and twice cam important?
It’s not necessary once you develop the skills to use one or the other properly, but it certainly can come in handy for getting to some difficult to reach spots on certain carvings
I've been waiting so long feels like a lifetime thanks for sharing can't wait till it's my turn! :D
I felt the same way!!
@@HuronSpoonCo Then i found your video on Jason A. Lonon and missed a batch by less than 5 days can 2020 get any worse lmao.
Awww dang! Well, the good news is that Jason puts out hooks pretty regularly. If you follow his Instagram, he gives hints about when new batches will be posted
@@HuronSpoonCo I'll be keeping my eye on it that's for sure! Still need to find something now someone jacked my tool roll .... Thank God my journeyman was in my backpack at the time. Know any other makers that have stock in the meantime?
Some tools are becoming difficult to come by because of the currently global health situation. Even Robin Wood’s tools have become pretty intangible. Your best bet would be to follow the @usedspoontoolco account on Instagram for a chance to grab some nice secondhand tools
Would you be kind enough to share Casey’s business link? I am.trying to get some quality bowl carving long handle Twca cams.
All his links are in the video description. It should be noted, however, that Casey doesn’t make the tools themselves. He handles them and makes protection for them
