Teatime for Gordon | Free to Adapt Story | The Buried Truck

While Gordon was taking some trucks along the main line, one of them developed a hotbox on its axle and they had to stop but Gordon and his train were fouling the level crossing as they wait for the hotbox to cool. What could they do to solve the problem?

That was a splendid episode. Nice to see an episode take place during the event of 'The Trouble With Mud' and 'Down The Mine'. The tea on a hot axle box was something I didn't know about. The Buried Truck really did his homework 😀.
I think with this episode having tea in, it should be rated PG 😆.

Can you list an example of a hot box being fixed with tea? I looked it up, and I can’t find one. Neat episode, anyway. It’s nice when an engine’s crew and its significance are acknowledged. So many episodes overlook them.
