The latest g&g Fabric Arrivals - October 2020

I've got another exciting selection of new fabric arrivals to the shop to share with you this week! Now that the clocks have gone back here in the UK and the nights are really drawing in, it's a perfect change to get busy with dressmaking projects and I'm sure you'll find lots of inspiration from these fabrics!

Hi Lauren what a gorgeous selection of fabrics can I ask if the ribbing one would be any good for a yoga waistband if not what else would you recommend.

Hi Susan, The ribbing wouldn't have enough recovery in it to be a waistband on its own, you'd have to put some (probably nice and wide for comfort) elastic in there too. Really for exercise clothing like that, you need fabric that has a high % of elastane/spandex as it has much better recovery, anything else will just stretch out. I hope that helps
