Here I am a Nepali boy living in the United States and watching Ram Dass. I think god sent Ram Dass to Nepal to help our fellow Nepalese people and god sent me here to the United States to help fellow Americans. And if god allows me, I am and will play my part as better as Ram Dass played throughout his life . Just give me blessings Baba Ram Dass, I am in the path of awakening right now. I will join those who have been working to continue your legacy.. thank you so much.🙏❤️
@@glenngreenstein4362 I'm a year late, but the person you're replying to never said they will be The Ram Dass. He said he will play his part as good as Baba Ram played his. While I don't know this Lazaro person, if he is still who he was when he commented a year ago, he is Ram Dass in the sense that he is a servant of God. But he is not and does not claim to be Baba Ram Dass.
I love the first question. She went to school to be a psychiatrist and learned tons of theory, and feels dejected that when it comes to interacting with a patient, it falls to the wayside. Jung said “learn all the theories, but when it comes to being with someone, just be another person.” Dass’ reiterates the same thing. Theory can get in the way of seeing another person instead of labeling them as a schizophrenic or depressive or as a client. We can’t show off our knowledge when interacting. The truly important aspect is to be another loving person. That is the biggest flex. That leaves the greatest impression and the biggest mark. On all parties involved. It’s the air of harmony and honesty. We don’t really think we’re better than other people, we just think we’re supposed to act that way sometimes.
I'm so happy I found this, after unknowingly having Be Here Now for about two years, I have opened it and I have found my Ram Dass, I shall keep going and keep remembering that this is just enough.
@@hamishbartholomaeus Until now I've only heard it FROM Alan Watts. He talks about the 'shadow' from us as being the trait of 'irreduceable rascality'. He has a 40,50 min speech about Carl Jung. I think he uses it there.
@Reggie If this is true than you are in love with love and the process in finding and giving your love. It's not the person with whom we are in love, but the message that comes from that person... What would you like your message to be to the world?
I love the part after the speech and before the Q & A. It's rare just to watch a candid Ram Dass hanging out. I've heard pretty much everything he's had to say and I felt I learned more just from watching him sit around for 2 minutes. His message is so saturated into him I just really love watching him observe people moving about around him. I really wish to fly to Maui to see him. I've had dreams of meeting him and I always end up crying in the dream. Would be absolutely transcendental (or so I imagine) to come into physical contact with him. Jah bless.
+spoocyguy Hey you might be interested to know (maybe), that you can have a private Skype session with Ram Dass. Anyone who donates to the Love Serve Remember foundation (at least $9 I think), gets an appointment for a private Skype session. I've heard he only does 1 session per week, and it can least 20 minutes to even an hour. Thing is they are booked for many months in the future. I have an appointment booked in October of this year, have heard great things about the 1-on-1 Ram Dass sessions and really looking forward to mine!... Best wishes brother
+Max Cooper Thank you Max. In September I set one up, for....THIS September. Haha so yes it was about a year waiting list. I literally will forget about it for weeks and months at a time now and you have just reminded me since last month about the precious gift I have waiting for me in the future, that, who knows, might never happen, and that's okay. I hope your call with Ram Dass in October is amazing!
Hey thanks for the question. It is scheduled for Oct 20th (Oct 21st here in Korea), and i am looking forward to it with a bit of nervousness. Thanks for reminding me as i want to feel a bit present and prepared, to make the most of it on the day.
I took off from my job a few months ago to train Muay Thai in Thailand and backpack Southeast Asia and won't be back home til mid-December. I emailed the lady who works the skype program and she got me bumped to December 22, my birthday :) so yeah...let's just say I'm pretty excited to be turning 30... I'm assuming you were talking to me because my session was supposed to have passed by now haha but if not let us know how yours goes Max... Many blessings
It was interesting to watch him really be himself when he took the break and he was just looking around the room, how come anybody just went up to him to say hello and just treat him as is?
It’s not healthy to be attached to a world so deeply. One should be more in tune to the cosmological perspective rather than planetary. You should love and cherish the world but not see it as so serious.

May you be blessed with his radiance and may you pass that which can empower the world through your self to the world.
You will never be Ram Dass.
... Don't be a fool..
Your can only be what
You ll be , not somebody else.

I love hearing Ram Dass say the word 'Rascal' :)
Rob Watson , only to be matched by Alan Watts saying ‘rascal’!!!;)
@@hamishbartholomaeus brilliant! I've not heard Alan say it so I'll be sure to catch it next time ;)

He is such a wonderful being, he has helped guide me during my latter spiritual journey.
What a Beautiful man 😍😍😍😍🌍🌍🌍🌱🌱☺💐
At break 17:44 he says “I feel so sick”. He pulled through the teaching feeling sick. Great man.
I think am in love with this guy... 🤔

Baba ram is so evolved & pure..we need more ram dass
This was so helpful - learning that it's okay to skip around, take what I need and move on to another thing.

I'm Going to trust that your answer here was an _honest_ mistake.
What did you mean by this, if I may ask?
