    Great review, honest and informative. Noticed you are slipping the clutch every shift. You only need to significantly slip the clutch from a stop. When moving, only need to use clutch to smooth out the shifts. When moving try releasing the clutch much faster when applying throttle for next gear. Thanks for making this video!

    Would you say it’s a good car to actually learn manual on? I got my 2023 GR86 coming 6 speed, I’ve driven a manual camaro a few times and a couple of new BMW manuals but I don’t daily a manual

    • @MalikPhotography
      @MalikPhotography  Рік тому

      My personal opinion is that you can learn a manual on any car that you daily. This isn’t the most forgiving manual, you have to be gentle just at the right point in the clutch travel and if you aren’t it’ll be jerky. So sure with a 1000 miles you’ll get better, but at the beginning it may be jerky if you’re new to manuals. Even for me after 7000 miles if I’m not paying attention sometimes I end up slipping the clutch or releasing it too fast and it’s jerky.

      @@morgandrives if you can get your hands on the new civic type R that seems to be much better for what you are looking for. • @morgandrives
      @morgandrives Рік тому

      @@MalikPhotography It would be more comfortable, more convenient, and more powerful, but I really don’t like fwd cars, and the R is much more expensive. It’s come to either keeping my car (2016 Audi A4 quattro 6spd manual) for as long as I can and praying it does not cost me a fortune in repairs and maintenance, or grabbing a new manual car before they all disappear.
