Chaldean Gangsters in Detroit all went legit. Now they own. Gas stations, liquor stores, car insurance, car dealership, cellphone shops, pizza chains, hotels, smoke shops, weed dispensaries, Supermarkets, and everything else.

I’m really interested in zeroing in on covario’s journey through books.
What books impressed him? How? What were the changes in perspective occurred? What parallels does he see between the streets and the suites?
Most importantly, how can he share his path with young people who are in the streets and headed to a long prison sentence or shortened life? Just saying “no” to being a gangster is not enough. It’s critical to guide all of that intellectual and emotional energy that is put into street life into legit endeavors that are more easily leveraged into political and social power and institutional financial participation.
