I’d rather say its oceanic not aquatic not a freshie (maybe in the opening) but a marine fragrance. It beautifully shows all the aspects to a ocean there is. Artistically made! A true masterpiece
Absolute beast. I sprayed it once on my hand while testing it in the store 2 days ago. Even after multiple showers i can still smell it on my hand. Insane!
Planning on buying this as I lived in front of the bay in Panama, Panama City. There is always a smell of coast/bay with some shit included plus the extreme heat and humidity and the sudden change of weather with storms. I think this fits incredible after going to the store many times and spraying it. Also, Bergamask caught my attention too, fits perfectly where I live because it always feel like summer too.
Hands up I’m the blind buyer and yes 5-6 sprays was the perfume equivalent of going 12 rounds with Tyson Fury, it’s so damn potent, shower number 3 finally did the job and I was able to wear something else, yes guilty as charged I’ve stupidly got two tops that are now reserved for Megamare, it took me I’d say three wearings to fully appreciate how good this is but yes I sensibly now just use two sprays as my skin for some reason holds onto it like it’s the Crown Jewels do I regret blind buying it? Do I heck I love it now that I’ve learned to box it back into its corner by toning down on the sprays 🥊🥊🥊
Of my 5 or 6 Orto Parisi's fragrances Megamare is my favorite summer scent. It's SO unique, unlike anything else, beastly beyond megatron status (whatever that could mean). Notes? Agree 100% that notes breakdown is useless on this one. Completely linear for me and I love it that way. BANGER of ALL TIMES.
Megamare is awesome I think the scent is like Jason Statham in Sick! It goes through the roof and is unstoppable. I also think it smells like a cooler day by the sea with maybe drizzle and you're sitting in a bar near the sea and drinking your Gin Mare
Got my first bottle today, not as strong or as projecting as I expected from all the reviews, just goes to show how scents differ on each individuals skin, that said I LOVE it just isn't the monster I expected. Still going to get a lot of use!

I picked up a bottle from nose paris, this is no where near as potent as you describe. I need about 20 sprays to get whiffs of it, but definitely doesn't fill a room. Wondering if you know anyone else who's experienced that, or any idea if it's been reformulated? It does last long, lasted through a wash cycle on clothes, but doesn't project very much at all.
Just got Megamare after watching ur video and im loving it! Unlike pardon, which i hardly smell on me, even though it comes with a lot of hype. I think i may sell my pardon...move over pardon, Megamare is here 😆🤣
Matt....I bought this in August 2021 and after a great start, by October it just wasn't performing. Poor projection and no longevity in that the following day I couldn't really tell that I was wearing it! Most unlike this perfume....I've returned it for a refund but wondered if you've any ideas why this might happen? Cheers Eric
Sounds like you have gone anosmic to it buddy , if you could smell it then you couldn't m, that tells you normally that the perfume is fine. Strange one buddy
Thanks....it is a weird one as my friends confirmed the same as me 'not like it used to be...' etc. I put a small amount of Viride on from a decant I had and that lasted days! They are sending it back to OP and I'll let you know if I get a response.
I usually lose musky scents and don't get them for long....but this is unbelievable it lasts even after a bath and my jacket sleeve is now owned by megamare.....potent stuff😁
Great review Matt, as usual 👌🏻 This week I bought my own bottle of Megamare after its sampling (after your review). This fragrance is very intoxicating and addictive indeed. A month ago I bought also Nishane Boszpurusz, as I am very much into “ambitious aquatics “ with deeper background. I recommend you sincerely to check this one out, this may possibly become the second marine scent that you may like. I would summarize them both like follows: megamare is sth for me and people around me ; boszporusz smells mega naturally, but it is more for me to feel super comfortable , masculine and marine at the same time. It doesn’t project like Megamare. Even writing about Mega my nose is recalling this beautiful frag ☺️ I am looking forward to seeing your next videos 👍
@@cuchanu recently I have tried new Kenzo edt Intense and found it quite interesting - salty, seaweedy, seems to have a few facets. The only issue maybe the impression of pickle smell in the beginning - like 5-10 minutes. But this is subjective and IMO fragrance developed nicely on the skin.
No not really , Fantomas is very different, Megamare is a.much heavier scent , there are times when I think I can almost find a similar vibe but other times I can't if that makes sense .
I think Selfridges must sell a dumbed down version 😂 joking aside I love aquatics but 5 sprays this morning and just average projection and strength be interesting to see if it lasts on the skin at least the full day. All reviews saying it’s so strong?? I wonder if the formula has changed?

There is no Ocean or salty sea ,acquatic and or the things people mention. This is plain OUD and disaster of an OUD. Smells cheap like Dubai market place and almost everyone soaking in this stinky bomb. every 2nd person smells like this in Dubai , a very common scent and , found easily in perfume markets going by name simple Oud and even noticed small grocery shops now sell them too in UAE !!!
I'm afraid you could not be more wrong. Well not about Dubai , I've never been there. I do know a little about Oud though and have quite a lot of ' real Oud ' in my collection . Oud from India , Thailand, Laos , Cambodia etc , where Oud is actually grown . Megamare Is most certainly an aquatic , it does have salty aspects and certainly smells of the sea. Sort your nose out or check your sample.

I have not come across any Orto reformulated perfumes as yet buddy and I have them all. Also Cuoium the most recent release is incredibly potent

Does it has the same dna as Fantomas from Nasomatto?
