Yes absolutely if you watch/listen to the video the fuel pressure/injector differential pressure is used for a number of internal fuel calculations, trim tables and engine protection strategies within the ecu. Highly recommended for anyone running a standalone ecu simple $100 fuel pressure sensor can save an engine if a fuel pump fails or boost reference blows off the fuel pressure regulator.
