I'm shocked at how little emergency lighting is on the fire trucks.😮 They would be safer on scene and able to get through traffic much better with more lights on at middle & low levels all around the trucks.

They meet their response times and this station has a very small first-due area. The MRU was going to an elevator entrapment if I recall correctly. Hardly life or death. The ambulances go lights and sirens for pretty anything, even very minor stuff, so they’re often not in a rush (it does seem strange sometimes).
