Hi Thomas, beautiful video! Were any of these clips recorded in the roped off zone? Last time I was there we saw a nasty dude on the kayak kick me out for snorkeling in the restricted area :(
I ended up staying in the non roped off zone and didn't see nearly as much wildlife or beautiful corals as you
Snorkeling is allowed behind the large yellow protection for the bay. Day tourists are allowed to snorkel in the required barriers for a fee and you will be chased away from the hotel

Wir waren 2019 dort und es war der beste, schönste, tollste und unvergesslichste Urlaub unseres Lebens!
Mietwagen nehmen und sämtlich Cenoten etc. ansehen ( und natürlich auch nutzen! 😉) , waren völlig unproblematisch und einfach.
Auf Holbox kann man unkompliziert für ein paar Tage übernachten und bleiben.
( obwohl Holbox uns zu laut und hektisch war!)
Im Akumal sucht man HalliGalli vergebens, was wir extrem genossen haben!
Aufgrund der derzeitigen Situation in der Welt und den exorbitanten Preissteigerungen, wird es wohl unmöglich sein, solche Traumziele nochmal zu besuchen….😢😢😢

Waren die Sargasso Algen ein Problem?
Das geht schon Jahre so mit den Algen.werden täglich weggeräumt. Mich hat es nicht gestört beim schnorcheln vereinzelt an der Wasseroberfläche
Wir waren im Oktober 2019 dort und es war wunderschön. Wir hatten absolut kein einziges Mal Seegras dort.
Natürlich ist das alles Wetter bzw. Saisonabhängig
Haben auch schon Videos gesehen, in denen Urlauber 3 Wochen ständig mit Seegras zu kämpfen hatten.
. Ist anscheinend „ Glückssache“ 😉

Large amounts of seaweed are washed up every day, and every morning the beach is laboriously cleaned and the seaweed is removed with excavators and trucks. The seaweed that the turtles eat is not affected.
