Not bad at all. Only criticism would be the smudging when cutting mortar away and when you are laying them brick your are dragging the mortar joint out instead of pushing the brick into the last to maintain a full mortar joint. A little less muck so no smears when cutting the bed, lovely work
Thanks alot mate 👍
I see the string keeps the bricks in line but how do you keep the bricks 100% flat and not slightly tilted?
Just press them down and eyeball it. Just use a level and make sure the first row is level and the rest is easy
That's why they have bricklayers... If it was that easy we'd all be doing it... It isn't trust me 😂
Make it loook so easy. Those little gaps at the beinning of the rows will fill in without anymore work?

How you maintain distance of bricks to the next brick?
Did you fill in those holes on the edge?
You mean the top course yes I did
How do you estimate how far up the next string height will be? Do you pick any height or is there a formula?

Is it cement and sand am i right?
If its too high above the line, tap the brick down, dont push or youll distrub layers below and squeeze mortar out and lower the layers below
You're supposed to push them down. Tapping bricks can affect the courses below. Why are you giving advice on something you are clueless about!? 😂😂😂
For beginners that’s great however always try to increase your speed.👏🏿

Sand+cement

Is it cement or clay ?
Cement plus building sand
Mucks to wet for staffs, you are losing gauge. Weight of bricks compressing bed joints!!
Why put so much mud on perp if you’re just going to get rid of half of it
Full perps and when it comes to jointing up its easier

Sand+cement mate normal mix
