I like your pace when you take us on a plant tour. You’re not in a hurry. I can learn so much more about the plants because you’re not zooming through the inventory. You bring calm to the experience.
Rosales was, of course, on my list when I visited southern CA a couple of weeks ago. I picked up one of the $6 rattlesnake calatheas and one of the $12 Mickey Mouse alocasias. And naturally I said hello to beautiful Princess the shop kitty and gave her a couple of gentle pets. ❤
You always do great Rosales nursery videos. I enjoy going there! But it was great seeing the selection of plants they have during your tour. Might have to stop by soon. 😃💚
I went there on Memorial Day after seeing your video. A lot of the stuff were gone. I went there for the large Raven it was well establish. I combine 2 6inch pot together and slowing dying away. Even my supernova that I got at Plantitas is not doing great either. Had to repot it when I got it. It was pretty wet! So hope this new one will do better.😊
Hoping your ZZ’s make a comeback! I’m happy to report that my chameleon is doing so much better since I switched its soil to sol soil’s houseplant mix!
All the garden centers must be getting stock from the same nurseries. Ace Hardware has been stocking some great plants that were once so expensive. In the past month I’ve scored an Alocasia Stingray, Philos Glorious, Gloriousum, sodiroi, and Brandii, Pink Princess, and Ring of Fire. Some were even 2-3 plants per pot at 5in. Which is really what I came to say… if you ever come further north there’s some great places to stop. La Crescenta nursery has an amazing tropical plant building. Better Gro Hydro in Pasadena used to mainly a hydroponic store… but they’ve become an amazing tropical plant paradise. And last on the top of my list is Lincoln Ave Nursery in Pasadena. They have a great selection and also have dinosaur sculptures. I enjoy watching your shopping videos. And the growing tidbits are really helpful. Glad that all of these places are just far enough away to keep me from spending even more! Ty!

Patrick, I love our virtual trips. The plant at 1:20 is beautiful. I’ve never seen that before. Umma try to find it. Thx and have a super day Sir.
