you can also find plug-in pack "quick physical camera.rar" this one permanent and also had a shortcut button so there is no problem when you open file that have physical camera setting (no error message pop-up when open file). ua-cam.com/video/pJD8PUnheAQ/v-deo.html you can find download link inside it
Wow this is great that music is super quiet at the beginning and then volume just barely explodes! So good when you are trying to be quiet at night. Wish you one day you will hear a nice music surprise like this when you will try to sleep.
I have questions and I do not know where else to ask them. The Chaos tutorials do not seem to cover these topics, and I am having a really hard time finding youtube tutes on them. Background... I'm trying to create my first project using Max and V-Ray. (I was a Maya generalist from about 2002, but in late 2016 my employment options hit a wall. I noticed the Max / V-Ray combo out there a lot in the job ads, and so decided it was time to add these two to my repertoire.) For a practice project, I picked an architectural (city skyscraper) rendering. I now have the building modeled and textured to a point where I feel it's ready to place against a photograph. 1) There does not appear to be a way to place an image into a camera image plane in Max, or at least into a V-Ray camera. Believe me, I've looked. Maya does this easily. I need this to position and light my building, plus to position shadow geo,... which leads me to my next question. 2) Is there a way to create a shader that will only render shadows cast on or by other objects? The old background material in Maya did this well. Is there a V-Ray equivalent? Going back to the image plane problem, I put in a polygonal plane, textured it with my background photo, and aligned it perfectly to the camera. Problems include a) the plane being blown out by the scene's lights and there being no way I know of to turn on some sort of light linking, and b) I cannot figure out how to child the plane to the camera as a parent so that the image doesn't get disturbed when I need to tweak my camera. Sorry for the long post, and thanks. If there's a better place to ask something like this, please let me know.
1.have you considered using hdri ? for background image draw a large cylinder not a flat plane. 2 . u cab extract every shadows, reflections and refractions by adding different render elements in render setup,
@@Platformstudio Hi and thanks for the response. For the image plane problem, what I need is a "guide" image. In other words, one that will be my ultimate photo to composite my render into, but that will enable me to properly position and light my model against that background photo. Does this make sense? I want the background photo in the scene, somehow, so that I can render my building properly. When rendered, I'll do a more accurate and tweaked composite in a layered Photoshop file. Does this make sense? For the shadow shader, since my building will be put into a photograph, to make it look part of that picture it must cast shadows into the environment. This includes surrounding buildings. To do that, I need to block out some building geo and render cast shadows onto it, but exactly how do I render out ONLY the shadow information so that I can later composite that into my photograph to make it appear the live buildings have the shadow cast on them? Again, does this make sense? It's amazing how hard this is to describe LOL Remember, this is Max and V-Ray. Thank you!
@@Platformstudio I did try all that. As it stands, my subscriptions for Max & V-Ray have run out, and I cannot afford to replace them. One thing I noticed is that it seemed to have something to do with the fact that my windows were single planes, not flattened cubes. When I did some tutes using thinned cubes, light passed through with no problem.
Hey guys. I need your helps. How can I make two-point perspective in 3ds max 2018 + corona 1.7? I tried to use camera correction but it didn't work. Thanks in advance
I have a specification of 8 gb ram, a i3 processor and a basic graphic card but when i try to render the scene i was unable to render the application crashes and the vray scene says not responding
@@ganeshkumar6814 why not using ryzen 5 2400G at least ryzen basic graphic card is vega series that can even playing heavy game at standard setting, but if you're using ryzen with vega internal graphic don't forget to change cpu cooler for long term usage with at least noctua nh-d15s because it will be quite hot due to high performance cpu & internal graphic
i already upgrade to 2018 3ds max , but there is no vray physical cam !!
any answers please ?
use (vrayCreateVRayPhysicalCamera()) command in max script
