I think when the detective told Kou to think before he speaks, she meant that he was probably being insensitive about the teachers situation in that he unwillingly became a vampire and the last thing he would want to do is drink blood.
That and he just blurts dumb stuff/nonsense and doesn't think how it sounds half the time. He is smart but.. He is foolhardily naïve, dense, and is impulsively reckless. He just does things without thinking about it or he overthinks stuff. Ya know like the average 14 year old kid.
@@Leon-mv1bn yeah but one of factors also that he is unaware. He didn’t have much of a social life besides his 3 friends and ofcourse nazuna so he doesn’t understand these things as much
Given that the statement is followed by "who would want to become a vampire" and she quickly reveals that she knows about his dream. I suspect that it was also meant to say that he should have thought about it before saying he wants to become a vampire. I get the impression this detective often packs multiple meanings into her statements.
Love how Anko changes the filter from Cozy to sepia, it totally breaks the show, perfectly done, and the cross forming on her back with the shadows of the sunlight, gave me chills. Anko's blood is probably filled with nicotine, it's probably black and awful. She said she knows about his dream, that means it's way deeper than we thought, she knows way more. Btw, "ii-yo" meaning it's just "good" "ii" and the "yo" is a particle used to give new info or permission, so it's kinda like saying "It's fine".
Nah, the reason why her blood is awful is... (Spoiler alert) . . . . . . . . She failed becoming a vampire before that's why when a vampire suck her blood it tastes so bad, its like an instinct to the vampire that a certain person can't be an offspring because they already failed to become one. This is from the manga btw
Unfortunately they skipped chapters 30, 34 and 35. There aren't spoilers so much as necessary skipped stuff from the manga. And they can't go back to them at this point. This story starts taking a more serious tone from this point onwards, no more slice of life stuff. The rest of the chapters in the manga are all back to back leading from one to the next and all connected. 30 is important because it's when Ko first meets Akkun after completing his transformation into a vampire and him and Ko have a conversation about changing. There's also foreshadowing because Akkun tells Ko he should be hiding the fang marks on his neck (which the detective noticed, that's why she knows Ko is with a vampire. She also checked his pulse in the dinner there, because vampires don't have a pulse). 34 is about Akira and her motivations. The girl who confessed to Ko came to talk to Akira before confessing to Ko. She knew that Akira and Ko were childhood friends and wanted her opinion and Akira encouraged her to confess to Ko. So Akira is trying so hard to get Ko to come back to school because she blames herself for him dropping out. 35 is Ko running into his homeroom teacher and they have an important conversation. So the chapters they skipped are important to Ko and Akira's character development.
The teacher still felt the full duration of the whole 10 years. It wasn't short for him as he's only been a vampire for 10 years too. I think old vampires like Nazuna feel that time passes by quickly due to their age, similar to how old people feel like the days become shorter. Its a well studied phenomenon. As we grow older, the days become relatively shorter compared to the time you have been alive. (Sorry I forgot the name of this phenomena) 1 year for a 10 year old boy is already 1/10 of his life. A year for a 100 year old man is only 1/100th of his total life, and so a year at that age feels very short. As for the teacher, my guess is he became a vampire at around 30. And so that 10 years is still excruciating. Moreover, coupled with the fact that time seems to drag when we are suffering, that 10 years would have felt longer too.
That's what I thought to, from what i remember sun, wood and silver are classic vampire weaknesses. i thought this show didn't have those weaknesses at first but now I'm not sure.

Sadly, can’t explain about the ring without spoilers, but the light and fun show that was before is over now. The rest of this story is just one crazy ride.
You knew how immature yamori is by the way he speaks and how naive of him because of his age. He never once think that there is a different type of vampire with different method hunting human.
And the thing is. It might not be such a different method. It’s the fact that it’s a con. Like most vamps are two faced so the one he fell for could’ve been really twisted and he only learned the truth after everything was said and done.
While time can breeze by for a vampire, for one that isn’t willingly a vampire and actively endeavoring to not drink blood, it’s probably still hell. Considering just how much she knows of them, and the details of the teacher’s situation, it’s possible there’s a ‘rogue’ vampire that caused his situation without the ‘warnings’ that Ko has been getting, where this isn’t a lifestyle for complete isolation and there are particular rules in place for a reason. Perhaps Anko’s chasing a shadow the Neighborhood Watch vamps have already taken care of?
There's a lot of juxtaposition in that last scene with Anko and the vampire teacher. Judging from all we've seen so far, it probably wasn't the light that killed him, since nazuna has been in the sunlight as well. It could be silver, since nazuna said that the silver in mirrors is what prevents a vampire from seeing their reflection, but at the same time, we haven't been told if it was a silver ring. The author is amazing at forcing the audience at asking questions, and it only gets better from here (especially Anko, shes literally the best character). Personally, I hope they don't try and cram, like, 40 chapters into the last two episodes, but so far the pacing seems to be really good. I think we can expect another season guys!!
sunlight doesn't kill Vampires in this world instantly, but it does do them harm if they're in the sun for more than short periods at a time. So that observation is correct.
