Going into this season I never would have thought that a romance anime, which is a genre I dont watch a lot of, would end up being my favorite show of the season in a season where we also got Danmachi s4 and the long awaited return of Overlord...it was just a treat from start to finish, and I have never EVER seen an anime that goes 0 to 100 in the blink of an eye like Yofukashi no Uta did, the animation and arstyle were beautiful, the OST slaps, the colors-...muuuuuah cheffs kiss*...all in all a 9/10 for me

I'm wondering if Ko is partially a vampire at this point (if partial vampires are even a thing in their world). When they showed him moving really quick to get out of the changing room in episode 10 I thought they were just playing it for laughs. But then they also showed him moving really quick in jumping the school gate in episode 11 and here he jumped off the bridge and took off as if that jump was nothing.
Excited to see a season 2 of this if it gets made.

You make a valid point, because yes, there are partial vampires and Ko is one. I never thought about those actions but that could explain that, and it could explain why he was able to jump off the walkway down to the street and be fine, which had Roshi confused.

Hopefully they make a season 2. The next big part of the story that a second season will cover contains several backstories for the major characters like Nazuna and Anko. The animation and music for the anime is top tier.

It started with Kou needing to fall in love to Nazuna, it ended with Nazuna falling in love with Kou.
There's a theory that Ko is already turned but he's a special kind of vamp that can transition between the two. While he's "talking" to homeboi, the reflection in the window gets dimmer and dimmer the more resolved about Nazuna Ko becomes. That plus the crazy jump over the gate and from the bridge gets people, including me, to think he's already abnormal.

For the people who are curious the anime ended halfway into volume five that being said I personally don't believe we're going to get a season 2 until sometime next year or 2024.
I personally don't mind the wait. It gives a bit more time to build up excitement and anticipation for the fans... plus more source material as the manga continues while we wait. The way it ended, though, almost makes me think a season 2 is already guaranteed... similar to how they ended My Dress-up Darling (though that show was more on-the-nose with the hint with Marin's "see you later").
Winner for best boy of the season is definitely Ko. Best girl of the season is a lot tougher because it's a tie between Nazuna and Chisato, for me... both are adorable, cool, and lethal.

For anyone wondering the anime finishes on chapter 46 of the manga so you should continue on 47. Also chp 30 was skipped over in the show so that’s also recommended to check out!
I think the detective knows something more. I don't think it's just as simple as "hating vampires because they're monsters". She knew about Nasakusa, she knew her by name. Seeing something as just a monster, you wouldn't bother learning the name they call themselves. I also think the teacher-vampire might have been the detective's father, but mostly because he thought her blood tasted awful; like some kind of anti-cannibalism, or in this case anti-incest reflex. Think of all the outbreaks humans went through and all the other toxic substances humans put in their bodies over millennia, what's some nicotine and like half a shot-glass worth of harmful chemicals compared to like whole generations of exposure to lead, asbestos, and arsenic (all three of which have found their way into peoples homes as fairly common materials; paint, insulation, and wallpaper; yeah, they used to use arsenic in a popular shade of green wallpaper at the time, mid-1800's I think it was), or the black death or the AIDS outbreak. Anyway, I don't know if this is true, so I don't know if I should put a spoiler warning, but I think she's jealous; she was like homeboy at one point, probably met Nasakusa one night, wanted to be a vampire, but never fell in love or got turned, and now she's salty about it.

anyway season two is gonna be mostly action and mystery with a lot of flashbacks in the first few episodes. that detective will be pretty important for the fist arc of season two, we will get some backstory development for nazuna and that group of vampires who like to get in her business all the time. our main character and his blond friend will also get some development and we'll even get a few new characters. can't wait to see what you think of them when season two comes out

The character that you thought was a trap, was a different one. They look kinda similar, but the caked up one is Honda, not the same as the one Ko was with in this episode and they showed Honda at the end.
I don't know why nobody underdtands that ko actualy developed feelings for Nazuna .. He doesnt want her to be bored because she is so important to him.. after that .. He jumps off the bridge and floats down .. He clearly is on the edge of turning into a vampire beceuse He is in love with nazuna now .. He had fun with her, He enjoiyed her Company, He wants to be with her thats why He isn't hurt after jumping from that bridge
