For subwoofer amplifier class d is enough. Because it plays only below 100hz. Actually iam not a big fan of subwoofer.get a decent stereo classAB amplifier like marantz,NAD, yamaha and u will get everything from it.plz not that don’t look after the watts. This 👆🏻thing rated at low watts like 40,50,or100w per ch but at very very low distortion like .002%like that .we can’t hear any distortion less than 1%.so don’t underestimate the power of such an amplifers .u will get a mind blowing dynamic power out of it around 220wph also at low distortion. The size of the speaker doesn’t matter.at least u need 91db sensitive speaker
